The complaint is not yet resolved. They aren't responding to my emails. There was a huge delay in delivery, huge discrepancies in invoicing and worst customer service provided by the company.
This is one of the worst companies I have dealt with, I don't know how come they have an excellent rating from Revdex.com.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: This is the worst customer experience. I am repeatedly being denied several benefits and asked to pay more. I asked for a refund on the damaged TV and electronic items, the company is not helping here.Insurance coverage of the items was denied as the ITI (Insurance company) is saying they didn't receive the inventory list on time from Universal relocation and the coverage is not there for the packed by owner items. Universal didn't clarify this when I purchased the insurance.
If insurance doesn't cover then why was I asked to pay for it?
This is a fraudulent company with no customer care. Everytime I deal with them, I get frustrated to hell. They don't take the ownership of delivery and don't take responsibility of customer benefits.

The shipment has been delivered over a month ago on August 13, 2016. There are no invoicing errors as per our records. Any invoicing concerns raised by customer were either promptly explained or waived. Receipts have been provided to the customer for all charges paid by the customer.
We understand that customer is unhappy with the delay in delivery but the delay was at customs and truly outside our control. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused on account of this rare delay but we are not able to offer monetary compensation for any delays in ocean transit or customs that are completely outside our control.

Earlier [redacted] had mentioned that they will show the bill value to customs to reduce the duty to be paid, but it wasn't done. Value of the duty paid is much higher than the value of the item bought in US.
Now after receipt of damaged items, they are declining to provide service for reversing the Duty charges. One should own complete services to a customer.

There are 2 issues with their response.
1. They never got back to me about insurance claim even after repeated queries regarding insurance claim.
2. I hired the packers and movers to pack and load the stuff into container. I also have invoice from them. Looking at my heavy furniture it is practically not possible to do self packing and loading.

1. I haven't received the details of the duty paid. Despite paying the full duty amount, there's no explanation for duty charged (itemized list). Also TV is broken, so I should receive a full refund of the duty amount. I also didn't receive receipts for these payments.
2. Items received are damaged (TV is broken, various electronics items are damaged, several souvenirs are broken)
3. I was being asked to pay so many additional charges (PoA, union charges, etc). I had to follow up with several people and after many emails & escalation, it was waived off. But I had to go thru mental stress and spend a lot of time for these things. 
I am not at all happy with the Universal Relocations.

I will ask the destination team to send customs duty receipts asap. As for the damages, this was a packed by owner (PBO) shipment. We have sent instructions to customer on how to file an insurance claim. Last but not least, all charges except port charges and customs duty have been waived and customer is aware of this. Port charges and customs duty are clearly excluded in the contract.
