Unis Demolition Contractors

Review: On 10/22/15, I signed a contract with Unis Demolition to demolish a 2-story structure. Since then, I have paid the contractor 80% of the contract price, but less than a third of the work has been done. The property is an eyesore, unsecured, and no work has been done since April 2016.

Contractor keeps promising that he will complete the work, but never follows through. Initially, he said the job would be done by Easter. Still waiting.Desired Settlement: I would like the contractor to finish the job.

Review: I signed a contract with Unis Demolition Company to demolish a house. I signed a contract to have said property demolished & filled & seeded. This contract was signed last year. Work began this March. After the initial start of the project the company has left the proprerty in a state in incompletion for so long that myself as well as the company are being cited by the local boro. The company has been paid in full for the completion of this service it has now been 7 months & after leaving several messages the company has stopped returning my phone calls. I have 30 days now to get the job done or fines will be levied upon me by the boro. All I want is what my contract states a completed project. Please help me.Desired Settlement: I want the job completed as stated in contract. House demolished and property filled and seeded, immediately.

Review: I had a fire in a house [redacted] on November 26, 2013. I have a signed contract with [redacted] of Unis Demolition on April 6, 2014. As agreed I paid him $6,000 until done then I would make the final payment of $3,500. After numerous calls to him, his office, the borough of [redacted] it has still not been started. I feel I have been very patient but I only get the response that I will get it started next week. Now it has been 10 months later and he still has not started the work. We simply would like the house torn down.Desired Settlement: The house demolished as was stated in our contract.
