My name is [redacted] and I am the owner of the salon in question. I have been in business for 24 years and have nothing but positive reviews from my customers all these years. [redacted] came to my salon on 6/**/17 at 6:30 PM without an appointment. She showed myself and the stylist a...

photo of what she wanted which was a bayalage coloring procedure. Based on the length of her hair and the procedure itself (which is time consuming and sometimes requires a double coloring process), she was given a price of $160. The customer [redacted] agreed to the price, and the stylist and myself explained that this is a big coloring job and will not be finished in one day and that the salon operating hours are 10:00 AM-8:00PM, and it requires for her to come back for the complete finished result. [redacted] stated she understood and made an appointment for Friday 6/**/17 at 1:00 PM to complete the work and have the final bayalage result. The hairdresser did the initial bleach job Wednesday evening and was finished by 8:30 PM. [redacted] was very happy with the result and she even tipped the stylist $30 and told her she would see her on Friday to complete the job, she was happy and was thankful that the stylist stayed 30 min past closing to accommodate her. [redacted] also told me that she decided she wanted to also do a haircut with her next appointment on Friday the [redacted], she was told the haircut would be an additional $20 so her total coloring job with haircut totaled $180.00. She agreed to price and left the salon very happy. The same evening after this client left the salon she started posting pictures on facebook and defaming our business telling people not to come here posting pictures of the unfinished work and stating that that's final result harassing our business basically lying (she had a second appointment made for Friday the [redacted]) and spreading negativity she even made a facebook page about our busin ess telling people not to come here. This is defamation of business a business I worked hard to build over 24 years. The harassment didn't end there, [redacted] came to the salon on her appointment day with an unknown friend screaming and hollering demanding a refund. She was violent one of the stylists has video footage, she was throwing things off the front counter. She broke the jewelry stand and some jewelry that was displayed on the counter. She was screaming negative remarks throwing things on the floor. Talk about anger management the client should take her own advice and seek help immediately this is not the behavior of a mature adult. She called my partner a nasty old [redacted] grandma, just despicable coming from someone of [redacted] descent this is truly unacceptable behavior. If the defamation of our business continues and this person continues spreading lies and defaming us we will take legal action. [redacted] liked the job she just didn't want to pay for it.

Review: Before I made an appointment with the salon, I came in asking them if they did exactly what I wanted and they claimed they did and gave me a price range of $160.00 for coloring and another $20.00 for a haircut, also they gave me a time range between 2-4 hours because I explained I had a 2 month old infant I couldn't stay away from for too long. I went in for my appointment, and I showed the stylist a picture of an example of how exactly it was that I wanted my hair to come out. She claimed that's how it was going to come out. The process took over 6 hours, and in between of coloring my hair she cut another customer's hair. After the last time they washed my hair, and she started blow drying it, I noticed it wasn't at all what I wanted, and told her that but at that point it was too late to do anything so the stylist said for me to come back and she would put a toner in my hair but I would have to pay for it. Also, because I was there for so long, I needed to leave to get home to my daughter so I told them I would come back for the haircut. When I came up to the manager named Galya, she told me the price was $180.00. I disagreed with her reminding her I did not get the hair cut and that my price was to be $160.00, and she told me that I "took too much of the stylist's time up and that she could have seen 10 people for the time she seen me". Even the stylist Olga that did my hair agreed with me on the price, which then the manager said "you have to pay us $180.00 now" and I replied "but I did not receive my haircut" and she said "you can come back and we'll give you a haircut for free". At that point I could not stand there arguing any longer, I was exhausted from being there all day and had to get back to my daughter. I came back 2 days later and asked for my receipt from a different manager Sveta and she stated I should have asked for my receipt the same day and that she will not give it to me, also because I complained about the company on [redacted].Desired Settlement: I am not asking for all of my money back, but most of it. They can take out how much they used on me for supplies and color but I would like the rest of it back seeing that I did not receive what I specifically asked for and gave an example of exactly what and how I wanted it.
