On [redacted] day every year, KingFish Jeffersonville sells a variety of ticket options to view the air and firework showAlong with a handful of other riverside locations, KingFish offers the absolute best vantage point of the spectacular showDue to that, and for the opportunity to have a spot away from the heavy crowds, KingFish gets a premium for these limited ticketed seats. These tickets are much the same as a ticket someone would buy to a concert or sporting eventThey do come with a buffet but much of the value is for the right to the spot to view the show.We do typically send out a letter that states that all sales are final but on this particular instance the customer called to purchase the tickets only several hours before the firework displayThe manager who sold the tickets to the customer asked him if he would be able to get to the store in time and told the customer exactly how late the buffet would be out and when the gates closedThe customer still wanted to buy a ticket saying that he was meeting friends there. After the fireworks show the customer then called to ask for a refund stating that he was unable to make itThe request was denied based on our policy that all Sales are finalWe hate the fact that the customer was unable to make it but as with pretty much any concert or sporting event a refund would not be grantedTraffic on Thunder is obviously terrible but something we have no control over.As a goodwill gesture, KingFish is willing to offer the customer an equal valued ticket to air and firework show next yearWe hope the customer understands and will be our guest then
