August 26, 2016Attention: [redacted] In opening I will refer you back to my initial response to this matterColor Brite Awning Company has responded properlyfrom start to finishI did not tell Mr [redacted] in our phone conversation that Color Brite Awning Company wasn’t going todo anymore for them; I said that Color Brite Awning Company did the best it could under the circumstancesIn furtherconversation over the phone I did tell Mr [redacted] what type of paint we used and where it came fromI mentioned toMrs [redacted] that she could or should think about purchasing a new awning because their awning is damagedI did not sayto purchase an awning from Color Brite Awning CompanyMrs [redacted] ’s solution to this matter does not workTherewill still be a color mismatch due to the years of weatheringColor Brite Awning Company does not factory enamel refinishold awnings anymore, we continue to only manufacture new productsAccess to the exact paint used to refinish the awningsis no longer available to usHowever, our new awning colors match our refinished awning colors years ago and our newawning colors have not changedTherefore, the white color used to touch up would be the same anywaysColor BriteAwning Company only has access to that paint in very small touch up bottlesMrs [redacted] tries to make it sound like theonly reason I called back again was because she threatened to call the Revdex.com, and that is absolutely FALSE!! Color Brite AwningCompany has been responding to every single one of Mr& Mrs [redacted] ’s phone calls up until this pointSo why wouldn’twe make one last attempt to try and explain that this is not a warranty issue and Color Brite Awning Company did the bestwe couldMrs [redacted] just doesn’t want to hear that and is being totally unreasonableMr& Mrs [redacted] paidColor Brite Awning company $1,598.00, years ago, for some work and Color Brite Awning Company worked hard and did anexcellent job of factory enamel refinishing their awnings, shutters and railsIn closing and on behalf of Color Brite Awning Company I would like to say that Mrs [redacted] should read the warrantyshe hasTHIS IS NOT A WARRANTY ISSUE!! It can’t be stressed enoughMaybe they caused the damage by accident whencleaning the awning or maybe Mother Nature did, I just can’t tell youWhat I can tell you is that nothing Color Brite AwningCompany did caused the original problem or there would be problems with the rest of the awningsWe only came out totouch up the areas in question to prevent peelingSincerely,Charles P***President

Attention: *** ***Color Brite Awning Company was contracted by Mr& Mrs*** torefinish awnings, pairs of shutters and railings on 5/10/Mrs.*** contacted Color Brite Awning Company on 6/2/with concernsabout the finish on awning over the back door and
front railingOn6/3/I drove over to their house to inspect the problem, Mrs***was home at the timeUpon inspection I found a few little spots on the backdoor awning and a few little spots on the front railing where the paint hadbeen chipped and scratched (not peeling)Upon further inspection I noticedthat the back awning was dented and damaged which caused the chippingand scratchingThe front railing was also damaged by something with thesame results (see enclosed pictures)I pointed this out to Mrs***and informed her that this is not something that is normally covered underher warranty (see copy of her warranty certificate)I also informed her thatmaybe she should consider calling her insurance company due to fact that theawning and railing sustained damage from something which in turn causedthe chips and scratches, and depending on what kind of insurance she hasmaybe they will replace them, however, the areas in question are so minorthat it might not be worth itNow Color Brite Awning Company is willing togo that extra mile to help our customers in most cases, so I told Mrs.*** that I would send out a service truck at no charge and at ourleisure to touch up the few spots in question to prevent peeling (not paint thewhole awning and rail), Mrs*** seemed pleasedMrs***stated in her complaint that the touch up paint doesn’t match the paint on herawning and rail, that’s because her awning and rail has years of weathering.The touch up paint is the original color of whiteI tried to explain that to Mr.& Mrs*** by phone, I also explained to them that I will not be able tomatch the existing paint due to the weathering and that we did the best wecould under the circumstancesNow lets talk about warranties, Mrs.*** for some reason is under the impression that she has a yearunlimited warranty, which is not the caseBack in Color Brite Awning’srefinishing warranty was a 10-year limited warranty clearly stated at the topof her warranty certificateAlso clearly stated in detail within her warrantycertificate is what’s covered and what is not covered, the warranty alsoexplains in detail how legitimate warranty issues would be handled and howthe work would be performedTHIS IS NOT A LEGITMATE WARRANTYISSUE! With that being said the bottom line is this, Color Brite AwningCompany in good faith after years, inspected, touched up and at no chargethe best would could a non-legitimate warranty issueIf that’s not goodenough than we here at Color Brite Awning Company are sorryFor somereason Mrs*** is trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill andwith that in mind any more complaints on this matter by Mrs*** willbe considered slanderous by us and legal action may be taken.Sincerely,Charles P***, PresidentColor Brite Awning Company Inc

The year warranty is from CERTAINTEED not COREY & COREY and are for the shingles being defective which is determined by CERTAINTEEDReplacement of singles for any reason done on the homeowners choice is not coveredIf the ridge has been covered without proper ventilation the warranty can also be voidedTherefore it is not covered under the year warranty

After I called on 6-2-three guys came over a month later & did a crappy job Dennis called 7-11, & & MrP*** took along time to call Dennis back and wasn't going to do anymore for usThat's why we called Revdex.com & you could have done something for usMrP*** never mentioned Insurance to me & why should I go through my insurance on this Our other awnings aren't peeling & we have seven more awnings on our houseAnd every year we wash them & keep them looking niceMrP*** even said how nice they looked & wanted to know what we washed them withWe had more than a few little spots; no scratches; more like spots on the back awningMrP*** called after I told his receptionist, Denise I was going to report him to the Revdex.com & MrP*** said that we could buy a new awning from him & I said that's not happening & wasn't going to give him anymore of our moneyIf MrP*** was willing to go that extra mile; than why didn't MrP*** just buy a quart of Color Brite White paint or something comparable to whats up there & we would have been done with this matterMrP*** was so nice when he came to our house & wants you to do business with him & then when you have a problem, you don't get the service you expectThat line of MrP*** that I made a mountain out of a mole hill, why wouldn't I; we paid MrP*** $We had no problem with paying MrP***, but MrP*** fixing the spots we didI'm tried of hearing the word sorry & not doing anything right to fix the problemAs far as we're concern; Dennis & I fill that MrP*** is not going to do anything for us & we will not do business with MrP*** anymore! And I don't like MrP*** threatening me for voicing my opinion! We have first amendment rights; freedom of speech; maybe MrP*** should know the amendment!

The roofing work for *** *** was completed before and was invoiced on September 25, which puts it out of our Year Labor Warranty

. ]I realize the guarantee is for 10 years but the contract states " then on a pro-rated basis for 30 years total if the shingles becomes defective".  I had to replace shingles because of leaking.
