Review: Unisun Solar has placed solar panels on our home but it has failed inspection several times. Now we can't get in contact with any employee to get answers.Desired Settlement: For the job to be done correctly or to come remove panels and dissolve contract

Response:

Unisun has been in communication with Ms [redacted] concerning this concern.

As of today we have received Permission To Operate from Pg&e. (See Attached). We will be reaching out to her in regards to turning on her system and producing power.

We will also be processing her Savings Starts Today Rebate for the amount of: $297.54.

We just left a voicemail and look forward to receiving 100 percent customer satisfaction. We can be reached at: [redacted]

Review: I was falsley sold a solar contract, by a drunk sales representative, with the belief that I was going to be paying for my usage of power. Which in their words was PPA (Purchasing Power Agreement) at a set rate and would never pay over a certain amount. 33 panels were installed and my contract was handed over to the Solar company (Sunnova) who informed me that I was on a PPA (Power Production Agreement). They charged me at a different rate then my contract, I never received an invoice, and an amount $100 over what Unisun told me was withdrawn from my bank account. Sunnova informed me that they declined my signed contract and was going off my canceled contract. I've tried calling my sales rep, the manager, emailed Unisun and called the supervisor and have received no contact back. I've been in contact with Sunnova who says they are trying to help me but for 2 months I've received no help or solution. I've continued to be charged and I'm not saving money, like they promised I would. It sickens me how a company can lie to get you to sign a contact and then their partner company do whatever they want to. Even when there is already a signed contract in place.Desired Settlement: I want Unisun to keep their word and only be charged for usage as my sales representative explained when I signed my contract. If that can't happen I'd like a to purchase my panels at a discounted rate, in payments. Due to the inconvenience. I'd also like all collections to seize until a solution has been met, including refunds for all payments already taken. This needs to be resolved in a timely manner, not when it's suitable for them. I'm loosing money rather then saving money as promise.

Response:

I would like to apologize for the delay in our response. We have been working on Ms. [redacted]'s concerns for a few months now. Here is a statement from [redacted]On April 15, 2015 I was the closer for the customer [redacted]. The sales Representative was [redacted].I went on the proposal and I was very thorough going through the proposal as we ended up staying at the house over two hours answering all their questions. At that time [redacted] signed and agreed to .175 PPA with an average monthly payment of $183.49. Approximately 3 to 4 days later I received a phone callfrom [redacted] wanting to cancel her agreement after she had talked to a friend or family member saying that the .175 rate per KWH was too high and thatthe .029% Escalator was too high as well. After talking to both her and her husband over the phone and fielding their questions they both agreed to see myself and the sales rep again. At this pointwe had gotten and PPA amendment #00HUU3 with a .160 KWh and an estimated monthly payment of $167.76 per month. And once again [redacted] signed and agreed to the PPA The next time I was contacted by the customer was when [redacted] called me asking when their system would be turned on. At that time I told her I wasn'tsure and told her I would call and find out after talking to Crystal, Crystal gave me a window of about 10 days. So I relayed that to [redacted] The next thing I have on this customer is the email from [redacted] that I needed to reach out to the customer and I did just that. I talked to [redacted]'shusband and the result of that conversation was in the email I sent to [redacted]. The customer was asking me about Sunnova needing a new contract signed and why they didn't received the rate of .16KWh and I told him I would do my bestto find that out and that's when I emailed [redacted] letting [redacted] know the customer concerns. The customer also ask me why his Sonnova bill was higherthen we had showed him on the proposal and that's when I reminded him a PPA payment could go up or down as much as 20%. ENDOn 8/6/2015 Ms [redacted] Contacted Sunnova and made a request. She requested to Pay $0.16 KW/H and be placed on Sunnova's EZ PPA which would be paying a more stable monthly rate. On 8/7/2015 a Change Order was provided to the customer and the customer has yet to sign it. The Customer claims that their bill was $90 - $100 per month. Attached you will find a copy of their bill showing over $300/month during the summer and about $90 in Nov & Dec. Attached you will find the notes provided to us from Sunnova. If The customer signs the new Change Order, Unisun Solar will reimburse the rate difference, multiplied by two, from the date they signed their agreement up until now. This will provide the customer with a more stable bill and will be less than the promised $180.00At this time Unisun is not able to finance this project in house as requested by the customer. We feel this is a fair offer, the customer will receive the lower steady bill and will receive twice the difference that they have paid.
