I am not going to legitimatize Sears Heating and Cooling's answer to my complaint. Their reply is an insult and attempts to cover up a bad business practice that borders on Fraud.They quoted me $1,700, S1,100 and $725 to repair my furnace; never once mentioned that the furnace made by Bryant which Sears Installed in my home in September, 2013 was on a 10 Year Warranty. The $725 quote was to repair a difficult combustion blower failure.The other two prices were to do better repair and cleaning work.I had the Trane Dealer [redacted]'s Technician look at the Bryant Furnace (which they don't carry or work on); Their guy said the sole problem was a Combustion Blower Electric Motor that needed to be replaced and was on warranty. [redacted] did not charge me for the trip. They had previously installed a heavy duty Trane A/C unit in our old furnace. The A/C Unit was moved to the new furnace by Sears in 2013. He said blower motor replacement was a one hour or less job.I called Sears and asked them to replace the Combustion Blower Motor which I stated was on warranty. Their Technician came out and did that and spent about one hour doing it; after which he request $533 for his efforts and stated that they had deducted $195.00 from their $725 quote. I wrote the check but told him it was too much money for an hour's labor. Sears also charged $79 for the original service call that resulted in the $1,700, $1,.100 and $725 quotes that caused me to go hunting.I have called another Bryant Dealer and asked if he would take over the maintenance on our furnace and he accepted. I explained the problems I'm having with Sears.The failure to mention the warranty on parts and the obvious knowledge that they were overcharging me ($79 + $725) is the issue here. I have been in the Construction Industry all my life and an Arbitrator in the Industry for thirty-two years on 137 Cases and Awards. What Sears has done is Fraud; In most instances like this treble damages are asked for and awarded to make sure the party being awarded against does not repeat its fraudulent behavior.All I asked for is the alleged but never mentioned hazard pay refunded and an hourly rate of $100 charged which is reasonable based on the $79 service call they charged me previously and I paid .If Sears didn't want the warranty repair job all they had to do is give me the name of a Bryant Dealer who would fix the furnace they installed a faulty combustion blower motor in during September 2013 when they were paid $2,000 to install the new Bryant Furnace.The Health Hazard nonsense was NEVER mention until Sears reply to my complaint (below).

You are correct that the repair is about 1 hour.   And for most customers, the repair price you mentioned is about right.
But, because your home is a health hazard to our employee, we quoted you a premium price.   We hoped you would find another contractor.   In...

fact, my technician told me you told him “they had a family friend who works in the HVAC field, who could do it cheaper."
Some companies will get out of your home without offending you by not quoting anything (as you stated another contractor did.)   Any contractor can get the same part credit as we did from Bryant.   It does not matter if they install Bryant or not.  Bryant will take care of their product.    
Three weeks later, on October 1st, you called back in and our service manager went over the repair cost with you again.   You scheduled the call knowing what the repair cost was going to be.   This was the second time you were told the repair cost.   We charged you exactly what we said we would. 
I feel the repair price you paid was extremely fair.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10669251, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.  According to the business, I made a complaint against the wrong sears air conditioning and heating. I will refile my complaint against the correct company.

This is a true story of theft & scam by United airlines where the victim was me. Journey was from SFO to Newark to New Delhi.
SUMMARY:
=========
• Utter unprofessionalism shown by the airline.
• Delayed flight from Newark (as usual) on 13th Aug UA82 to New Delhi
• Made me offload extra weight from my bags (even though I was flying business class and the weight was allowed for business).
• Bags never reached the destination on my flight.
• They guided me to put extra values on the customs form for insurance purposes (Prashant Bhagat from United India) just in case the bags were lost !!!
• United assured us that the bags would come the very next day and would be sealed for safety, which clearly is a joke for such a sy airline.
• Their numbers are always unreachable and following up for my own bags was a nightmare !! Ruchi Rana & Rinku from United India staff were completely useless.
• Finally when my bags arrived, UNITED staff called me late at night only to tell me that the bags were stuck in customs because of their fault !!!
• When I cleared the customs & got my bags – I realised that my two iPhones & one iwatch (which were sealed and bought just one day before my travel from San Francisco) were STOLEN !!!!
• After filing the pilferage report, the UNITED AIRLINES people think that we have nothing better than to keep following them for an update. They don’t care about customers !!!
• Now, when I need the declaration form which was submitted to UNITED for customs, they are refusing to give us a copy !
• I feel they purposely delayed my bags to steal stuff from my bags as they had probably scanned and seen that the contents were expensive electronics !
All in all, the worst airline in the world is UNITED & they do this to their Mileage Plus customers who travel BUSINESS CLASS !!! So you would shudder to think that would happen to others !
