We did the head gasket job on our endWhen the customer [redacted] and [redacted] came and picked up the vehicle we explained to them to Please Do not over heat the vehicleIf you see then guage moving at all towards the hot side pull over and call us and we will send the tow truck to pick up the vehicle at no cost to themThe first time we talked to [redacted] he stated that they only drove it a couple of times and that his nephew drove the vehicle and over heated itWe sent the tow truck and inspected it and the fans we not coming on which caused the car to over heat and blow the head gasketWe fixed the fans and the car was still over heatingWe checked it again and came with the diagnostic that the head gasket had blown againNow a month and 1/ago [redacted] ( the [redacted] , not the one that drove the car) and [redacted] ( [redacted] ) showed up to shop and spoke with me and I explained everything and that I would warranty labor but not the partsWhich wasn't going to need a timing belt or water pumpThe only parts that it needed was a head gasket set, oil, antifreeze and machine shop only needed the heads to resurfacedWhich everything would be $ [redacted] called [redacted] and he approved over the phoneI talked to [redacted] on at 12:pm and informed him that it was ready [redacted] stated he will call the team and have them pick it upThe vehicle still hasn't been picked up to this day
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: That is not the complete truth We called him as soon as we got home from picking up the car originally and the hose was loose and the coolent was leaking out He asked us not to drive it and we didnt He had a tow truck pick it up so if it ran hot it was then [redacted] is my only nephew and he had not driven the car since the supposed repair Yes he has spoken with my husband [redacted] but he is a long haul truck driver and not in town My [redacted] lives in [redacted] and I have been out of town and also had a death in the family so that is why the car has not been picked up I do not get were we told him our nephew had driven the car because the only one that could have possibly driven it is me and I did not drive it more than around the corner to the gym Regardless we are trying to resolve the issue but I was attempting to wait until my husband came home so that he could check out the car and make sure it was done to his satisfaction and since that has not happened in two weeks I guess I will pick it up This matter has not been resolved Regards, [redacted] ***
