Today, June 21, 2017, my General Manager [redacted] ***, spoke with Mr [redacted] in regards to the issues with his Buick that had been brought in for serviceBased on the complaint that was filed on Complaint Number [redacted] .Mr [redacted] had come in for service about a noise that was coming from the right side of his vehicle and Mr [redacted] had notated on his ticket that it was coming from the right side bearings and that they would need to be replacedOnce Mr [redacted] brought the vehicle in for repair a week later and our team got under the vehicle, and after further inspection we had noticed that the LEFT bearing was at a dangerous point breaking down and needed to be replaced immediately, whereas the right side was not in such poor condition that I could not wait.Mr [redacted] explained to Mr [redacted] that it was a lack of communication on our part and should have reached out to him prior to replacing the left barring and better explain the situation that we felt the left side should be replaced first due to the safety factorMr [redacted] expressed that we value him as a customer, and as a show of good faith we wanted to do right by him by any means he felt necessaryMr [redacted] offered Mr [redacted] the option of full reimbursement in the form of a check that could be issued today, or he could bring his vehicle back down and we would repair/replace the bearings on the right side that were initially quotedMr [redacted] then told Mr [redacted] that he wanted to contact his father for his opinion on which way he should approach it, and would call him backA short period later Mr [redacted] called back and has opted to bring the vehicle back for replacement of the right side bearings, and service that was initially quoted.I feel that based on this agreement of our repairing the vehicle should satisfy this complaint.Best Regards, [redacted] ***
