I am rejecting this response because:First of all, there was no previous repair! They keep trying to say this but it jas never been worked on in the pastAs stated previously, there were seals and gaskets replaced in the area, nothing to do with the front differential directly.Secondly, in the contract, the first section AOur responsibilities: We agree to replace or reimburse you for the cost to repair or replace any parts covered by the contract due to a mechanical breakdown or failure. Then in Section E it goes on to describe what is not covered due to mechanical breakdown or failureThis list is extremely long and discusses acts of nature, negligence, repairs without prior authorization, etcThen the section UCC is referring to is in part s.) covered part due to wear and tear is not coveredHow is that possible? That sentence completely negates what is covered! A mechanical breakdown has been defined as: the inability of a covered part to perform the functionsfor which it was designed, due solely to defects in materials or faulty workmanshipIf it is the latter, and due to faulty workmanship as United Car Care claims, then they are responsible! If it is the former, and due to defects on materials then they are also responsibleI am not a mechanicI may have said it was wear and tear but I really dont knowFor that answer, I ask that you consult with *** *** and get their expert opinionAdditionally, if it was due to wear and tear, why wouldnt a paid insurance company cover that? Wouldnt it be the entire reason for purchasing the insurance in the first place? It appears to me, and im sure everyone whoever purchased UCC insurance, that this company will do everything possible to avoid paying for repairs, including writing up a contradictive contractIf this company avoids ever making payments to repairs then it is nothing more than a scam to swindle people out of their money and should be investigated

I have reviewed the customers complaint again and find as followsBased on the independent inspection report and digital photos United Car Care stands by the original decisionThe customer purchased the contract on 01/15/with 27,miles on the vehicleThe vehicle currently has 83,miles on it and the contract expires at 100,miles and has previous claims paidA full refund is not is not an option per the terms and conditions of the contractThe customer may file for cancelation and receive a pro rated refund

Based on the repair facility diagnosis and 2 independent inspection reports and digital photos the customer drove the vehicle low on oil until the engine seized (locked up). Based on the terms and condition of the contract the customer...

agreed to at the time of purchase of the contract, continued operation of the vehicle after a failure is not covered. Both inspection reports and the notes from the claims screen with the customers comments have been forwarded to the Denver Revdex.com to be attached to this complaint.

I have reviewed the complaint submitted and find as follows.
Based in the independent inspection report and digital photos the claim was properly denied for lack of proper lubrication and driveline angle. Per the terms and conditions of the contract the customer must always maintain the fluid levels as per the specifications of the manufacturer.

I have reviewed the complaint submitted by the customer and find as follows. Based on the independent inspection report and the previous repair made by another repair facility, the rubber transmission line was leaking and repaired previous to this claim. The transmission was run low on fluid and was...

low on fluid when it arrived at the current repair facility. Due to continued operation with the fluid being low causing damage to the transmission. Based on the terms and conditions of the contract, the vehicle being operated without the proper amount of fluid causing damage is not covered. The independent inspection report has been forwarded to the Revdex.com for their review. The customer also canceled their contract on 02/05/2015 three days before submitting a complaint. This contract is no longer in effect.

We currently do not show a contract for this customer. Please provide a contract number or the last 6 digits of the vehicle's vin number.

Based on the terms and conditions of the contract, the independent inspection report and diagnosis of the failure this repair is not covered. The inspection report is attach to this complaint for review by the Denver Revdex.com. I have also inserted the section of the contract the customer agreed to at the time of purchase which excludes normal wear and tear. United Car Care stands by the decision.
