As she has mentioned in her note to your organization, she entered into a contract with our company almost years ago to remodel her Kitchen and BathroomsWe have since attempted many times to set up installation dates to get her project started, but she has not been ready [redacted] even asked for an extension on her NO INTEREST Financing about a year into her agreement and we did so to accommodate herAs clearly discussed with her in our meeting months ago, we have had all her material in our possession all along and are more than willing to start the project based on her availabilityWe are also willing to settel this matter within the frame work of our service agreementUnited has been in business since and the key to our success for over years has been customer service and quality workOur goal is always to honor our customers and the service agreement we have with them and expect the same reasonable treatment from our customers in return Thank you for your time and look forward to getting this matter resolved soon

This message is in further response to my complaint against United Carpet and Floors To date, I have not been contacted by that business regarding my complaint Before contacting Revdex.com, I tried to contact the business by certified letter on May 8, 2014, and received no response which is contrary to what they previously reported to you The cabinets listed on my service agreement are *** and the color is wheat The cabinets that were installed in my townhouse are *** and the color is wheat The price for *** is much more expensive than *** and I am asking to be reimbursed for the difference in priceI was not aware of this fact until I had to order a replacement for two of the cabinets due to a water leak, from a *** Vendor I feel that this business ripped me off and did not provide good customer service in my case

dated 6/11/(three years ago), you will find our company is contracted to
remodel two full bathrooms and an entire kitchen in *** ***’s home for a
total of $As obviously indicated in the same document, a total of
$was charged on this customers’ financing account as the initial deposit
Once all materials were purchased and the crews were made available to begin
this project in less than a month after the date of the contract, *** ***
was contacted to have the project started based on her availabilityHowever,
*** *** stated that she would not be available to begin the project due to
her work and extensive travel schedule and that she would contact our service
department when ready *** ***
contacted us four months later, asking to extend the initial financing term as
she was not yet ready to proceed with the renovation workAs you can see, in order
to accommodate our customer, we extended her financing term for another year
Now, after three years, *** *** is asking for a refund! Again, referring to the same contract, you will
find that it is clearly stated; IN AS MUCH AS THIS ORDER IS MADE TO SPECIAL
MEASUREMENTS & ORDER, THIS INVOICE IS NOT SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION
ALL SALES FINAL, NO REFUND
However, as we stated in a
recent meeting with *** ***, United is more than willing and able to start
the project for *** *** based on her availability and although, there has
been tremendous increase in the price of material and labor in the recent
years, we will honor our existing contract and will deliver our usual
professional work for *** ***

In their first response they don't mention anything about receiving my certified letter in May 2014, or of making a response That's because they didn't and haven't
In their second response, it appears that this is what they should have said in first response Why would they be surprised when I told them what would happen if they did not respond to my certified letter
I faxed my evidence to Revdex.com on 7/11/ Since the business has not contacted me, I would like for the business to send you their evidence as well I feel that they're trying to wear me down with the stall, but the proof is still hanging on my kitchen wall And they don't match up with the service agreement they wrote up Thank you

Review: We had United Carpet and Floorz install carpet and refinish our hardwood floors. They made a small hole in the wall, They did not use near enough polyurethane so 18 months later our hardwood floors have areas that the stain has come off. The [redacted] Carpet has multiple strands (at least 20 or more) coming out after 18 months. We have been in this house for 10 years and 9 of those years were with builder's grade Berber which our two Boxers did not harm at all. But somehow this carpet that the salesman [redacted] assured us would be better than the Berber for our dogs is failing. Conveniently [redacted] does not work for them anymore. The area where the carpet is failing is small and not in a high traffic area. After several phone calls [redacted] came out and was here about 5 minutes saying it was all the dogs. Then he said it was normal for the strands to come out and that we needed to cut them with scissors. Then he offered to cut them himself. He told us that we needed to pay $350 to have someone from [redacted] come out and look at the possibility of accessing the warranty. He is not responding to messages and refuses to do anything to help. We have left messages, gone by the store etc. We are always told we need to talk to [redacted] and he is not there. The hardwood looks worse than before we had the work done so they have essentially damaged the floors. We have contacted [redacted] Carpets and they told us that we must deal with United Carpet and Floorz directly. We paid over $6,000 to have this work done in our home and this is the most egregious example of shoddy work we have ever seen. The end result is worse than the condition of what we had before they did the work.Desired Settlement: We would like our money back so that we can pay a reputable contractor to fix the damage they have done to our floors.

We've also field yet another claim with [redacted] Industries to have the carpet inspected, but this time we eliminated the presence of the two large dogs in our report in order not to get denied prior to having the carpet physically inspected by their agent. Additionally, we have come up with a fair resolution to touch up the hardwood that were previously sanded and re-finished by our company. We will continue to work with [redacted] and all other parties involve in order to reasonably address all their concerns.

Review: June 11, 2011, I was billed $14,000.00 for products and services via [redacted] to have my kitchen and bathrooms remodeled. I never received the products or services from United Carpet & Floor, United Kitchen & Bath. From June 11, 2011, until present, I had been getting the run around United Carpet & Floor, United Kitchen & Bath in terms of starting the services or at least giving me the products that I paid for where I can find someone else to provide the services for me. During this time period, the company would never contact me in regards of initiating the services or giving me the materials. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was always told by his employees that he was unavailable or out of country. There were times where the company's representative will schedule appointments to look at the work that needed to be done. I would had taken time off from work and they will be no shows. I had reached out to this company on numerous occasions and the company always been non-responsive. When I finally met with the owner January 3, 2014 he stated that I could not get a refund because I signed a contract and the sales were final and I owed him storage fees for the products. I never experienced anything like this before and I feel that he deliberately had taken advantage of me because he got $14,000.00 out of me and did not do anything.Desired Settlement: This has been mentally draining and a lot of my time has been wasted. I will like to have my money back. At this time, I do not trust anything that's been told to me from the company and I do not feel secure if anyone from that company was to come near my home.
