I was looking to purchase furniture, bedroom and living room set. I went to the United Furniture store address in this complaint three different times. I finally settled on a full size bed room set including a leader recliner sofa and love seat on February 8, 2020. The manager of the store assured me that the furniture I settled on were in stock and he would contact me on February 11, 2020 to schedule a delivery date. He requested my credit card information to be on file. I provided him my debit card even though, the furniture I settled on were being financed.

On February 11 and 12, I received two voice messages from the united furniture store letting me know that the bed room set I settled on were no longer in stock and requested I go to the store to select another bed room set. On February 13, I contacted the store and informed the manager that I have been in the store few times, there's nothing else I like. I further asked the manager to cancel the other based on the fact that they assured me that they had the specific furniture in stock and I do not see any other furniture I like. The manager then hanged off the phone.

On the same February 11, 2020, I received a call from *** reminding me to make a payment. I informed *** representative that I have not receive the furniture and I am being asked to start making payment? The representative asked me " You have not receive the furniture?" I responded no. She apologized and informed me to contact the store. Two days later, I received a payment statement to start on March 4, 2020.

I went to the store on February 17, 2020 and reiterated to the manager that I do not see any other bed room set that I like and asked him to please cancel the order. The manager was annoyed and informed me that he would charge my card for restocking fees. I politely asked him not to charge my card as I was not at fault. On February 19, 2020, I observed that United Furniture Style had changed my debit card in the amount of $ 78.36.

Unfortunately,my product has not performed well because the sectional was defective. I am disappointed because I opted for fabric customization on the sectional and waited 3 weeks for my delivery just for the sectional to come with defects. I have also noticed the in only the 4 weeks that I have had the sectional, the fabric is now coming apart on more pieces of the sectional and I still have not received the left arm reclining piece of the sectional back since they picked it up on 01/19/2020 at 8:00 pm. I have been waiting for a date for them to tell me they are going to return the left arm piece and when I call the owner Ahmad states he doesn't know when it will be fixed. Now the entire sectional is defective. It is clear that the sectional was not adequately made and the owner has refused to have the rest of it fixed for me. The owner also refused to cancel my lease contract with Snap finance even though I do not want this sectional due to the defects and the fact that its coming apart. Ahmad the owner is now stating there is no refunds even though I was never made aware of that until after I received my defective merchandise.

I bought a sofa and loveseat in November 2017 from United Furniture Style. It is in our Family Room. We are retired . Only sit on Loveseat. Financed for 6 months. Paid off in May 2018. Had guests and sat on couch end of June. Could not get off so low and cushions no firmness. Noticed loveseat much thicker. Measured depth. Loveseat 1 1/2 inches thicker. Contacted store and spoke with Moe. Said no problem. Send pics. Nothing after week. Called again told send numbers printed on tag of couch. Nothing. Decided to go to store july 19, 2018. Amed, brother of Moe, will order new cushions. Guess not done by Moe?. He Called someplace and gave info. Nothing. Called last week. Still waiting he said? I had ordered foam for cushions from Amazon aout 3 weeks ago to fix myself? Sent message asking Amed on Monday 7/30, should we go this route? Work with me or I will give bad review online. Nothing. Read their reviews last night on line and see it seems to be their pattern with send pics, will fix and just ignore customers. I paid over $1000 for this set. No one has sat on sofa for cushions being so thin. I also called Ashley the manufacturer. They said they should have a representative to come out. Contacted them On that about 2 weeks ago . Nothing. Amed said on going to store they do not have representative?
I would like someone to look at this sofa, fix it or give me a new one.

I had a bar on layaway for about 2 months and on April 21, 2018. I paid it in full ($1,511.00) which $149.00 for delivery included. Moe from United Furniture said it would be delivered in a week (it wasn't). So, I called and he promised it would be delivered in another week ( it wasn't). He stated he will call and set up a delivery time. He never called or made a delivery. So, I called him several times about my bar. Everytime I spoke to him he kept making excuses about why it wasn't being delivered. His excuse was "Everytime he's ready to make the delivery something happens". On Saturday, May 26, 2018, again I called and he said he didn't have any drivers. Moe, said he would take the cost of delivery off and I can come get it myself. I told him I want my money refunded and he stated I couldn't because it was a layaway. Then he went on to say give him another chance and if it's not delivered by Wednesday, May 30 he would give me my money back. This has been going on for a month now. I have been lied too and this company hasn't provided quality service and I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.

I honestly love this company! I get good deals, good financing and just for the great price!

these people are amazing And they have fast delivery just for the right price!

I purchased a couch less than 6 months ago from this business. Since then the spring on the couch has begun protruding out. Due to the spring protruding it caused a crack in the wood that was holding the rest of the springs in place. Since then one side of the couch sits up and the couch is completely not usable.

Sucky Customer Service
I ordered a couch & chaise. From the pics you can see at first I received a love seat & chaise. Fine they messed up. I can understand a mistake. Thing is, I waited a whole month for my order. As tho it was their mistake I asked them to rush the order. Obviously, my satisfaction was not a priority because it took them 3 more weeks to send me the additional chair. I would also like to add that Moe will *** you instead of being straight with you so dont believe him. All it takes is communication. I called several times & he promised to call back but did not keep his word. Finally their delivery services stinks. First time they gave me a window of 4-8pm. They arrived well after 9pm. The 2nd time they said between 2-6pm. When I called at 5:15pm the driver told me they were over an hr away & would not arrive until 7pm. I called the store & threatened to cancel payment so they claimed to send the drivers immediately but they still did not arrive until 6:40pm. In the end, I do like my furniture but the service needs improvement. If you buy from them you def need to be very patient.

Never called the day prior to delivery with the time frame like I was told they would. I call the next day, told 3-7. 630 I call to check in spoke with Cal, he tell me they are delayed maybe an hour he didn't know. I informed him I have kids to put to bed I need to know what time. He said he will call right back. 25 min later I call again.. he said they will probably be leaving their current stop in about 30 min but couldn't say where they were coming from... I tell him forget it cancel my order. Proceeds to argue with me and tell me I need to call tomorrow and talk to my salesman Moe in order to cancel. I said we'll don't you work there? He said yes he's a salesman.. so you're a salesman just like Moe yet you can't help? He said no. He proceeded to hang up on me. I called back, no answer. So I had no choice but to drive there to get an answer. In the mean time the delivery drive calls me at 7:20 stating he's at my house. I said I canceled this at 6:50 didn't he call you? Anyway when I got there they were even ruder than when I was on the phone. Cal said he didn't hang up one me which is complete bt. Ishmael was even worse, never once apologized. Instead tried telling me the time frame was 4-8 not 3-7. Funny bc they told me 3-7 in the morning and again when I talked to him on the phone that evening he never corrected me when I said I had a time frame of 3-7, actually said they will be LATE passed 7... hmmm yet my time frame was 4-8? I don't care if they're we're going to be late, but the customer should have been informed if so. Then when I ask for an ETA over 25 minutes goes by and I have to call again! They were very rude, no sympathy. Never once asked what they can do make me happy, talked over me the entire time. WORST customer service I've ever dealt with. I asked for the managers name they say it's Moe... so Moe is now the manager too? Well according to Revdex.com it's Abe Eid so I guess Ishmael lied again.

I'm told all sales are final, no refunds. that's all Ishmael said over and over again. well, what you know I go to their website the next morning it states: "We are committed to your satisfaction first and foremost, and we want to help you have the best possible shopping experience. We recognize that sometimes an item may not meet your needs, was not what you had hoped for, or simply does not fit with your decor or space. If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your purchase, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be new and in unused condition. A few of our vendors may be excluded from our return policy. Any exceptions are noted on the page of the item. Special orders where custom fabrics or colors are selected are non-refundable." so clearly you can return and get a refund within 30 days of delivery, which I was asking for this before the items have even been delivered and I was denied that option. They ONLY resolution they offered was to reschedule a delivery for another day. I informed them I will not take off work again and lose pay to sit around for a delivery that may not happen.
The deliver driver called me as 7:30 stating they were at my house. (I already left and went to he united furniture style store in an attempt to resolve this issue. I told Cal at 6:51pm to cancel (this is when he hung up on me) I can't believe they didn't notify the poor delivery men. since I was literally told there is nothing can do for me, I left the store at 8pm. I called the delivery driver back at 8:30 and asked if was still in the area he can make the delivery since I had no other options. the delivery men we SO NICE! they actually came back and delivered the furniture. if only the reps in the store had customer service like them.

in the next month or two I'm purchasing a new dining set and two children's bedroom sets, I will NOT be doing business them.

At this point the furniture has been delivered because I had no choice and arranged that myself the delivery men. I expect some sort of discount and refund for the poor customer service and the major inconvenience this has caused my family.

I ordered 2 2 door wardrobe closets, I was asked about shelving size, which what I explained, let me to believe that on would be about 6 inches wider than the other...I had already previously purchased a wardrobe closet from them so basically I wanted the same thing again just one in black and the other in expresso...the total was 523.88 including tax and delivery..when the delivery came on 6/2 the black piece was fine however the second which is listed as a pantry is not correct..I called the store spoke to Derek the sales rep on 6/4 he was supposed to call me back..I only signed for the one piece and the delivery men made a note on the copy stating the issue..they took the pantry back..these items are being financed, I called the finance company, they were told the contract only states 1 item for 523.88 which is incorrect, I faced over my order form which shows 2 items priced at 249. And 199...the store will not correct the invoice, in addition, they said that I was delivered what I ordered and the issue is the pantry does not fit..now the pantry is a kitchen pantry used to stick canned goods which is half the size of the wardrobe closet..I called back on 6/6 spoke to Muhammad the store manager, he informed me Derek the sales man is not in, and that there is a price difference of 46.00. I understand that, however the item is not what I ordered and it was returned, so I should not have to pay for something I do not have..he reuses to adjust the invoice which only show 1 item, at a total cost of 523.88 which that is incorrect and I am not paying that amount..also he refuses to cancel the other order because it is a special order..they are not willing to make up the difference. And deliver the correct item..
