contact a 3rd party broker in Pakistan to handle this container.The broker has quoted $ to bring the empty container to *** *** resident in Pakistan,returned the full container to port, ocean freight and to complete customs formalities in Pakistan.*** *** agreed and pay to Broker. This container was loaded by the people hired by *** *** in PakistanAnd no one else had the access to the goods. Container was sealed in front of the representatives of *** *** Once the container arrived to port, the broker contacted our agent in Pakistan to move the container to USA. When the container was in the water our agent sent us the pre-alert and informed usAbout this container. We reach out to *** *** to informed her about the container and it is arrival dates to USA. All these discussion was done via emails. Then *** *** Pleaded us to do the US Customs clearance for this container as she mentioned that she don’t know anyone. She alsoPleaded us to arrange the delivery from the port to her residence in Texas. *** *** sent us all herPass port copies and Social security numbers and home address to arrange US customs clearance andDelivery. we sent detail emails and invoice to *** with the breakdown of all the charges. *** ***Agreed to pay all the charges via email and made wire deposits to our bank account. Once theContainer arrived to port Carrier / Shipping Line informed us that this container was held by US CustomsFor the exam purpose. We immediately notify *** *** and sent an email and details invoice for theAdditional charges incurred due to this US Customs hold. US Customs and Boarder ProtectionOpen the container and inspected all the goods. Since Pakistan is considered as elevated security threat to USA, most number of containers arriving USA are held and inspected. *** *** agreed forAll the new charges via email and made the payment by a credit card. Then our trucker delivers the container to the address given by *** *** Since the container was delivered to *** *** ‘s residentNo one else had the access to the container except US customs and broader protectionOnce unloading the cargo *** *** complained that cartons are missing and items are damaged.As stated initially this container was loaded by the people hired by *** *** and any damaged to theGoods is due to poor packing and loading by her people. Also we are very certain that US Customs andBoarder Protection as no necessity to steal cartons as she claimed missing since it was only US Customs and Boarder protection had the access to the container once it arrived to port in Texas.We requested *** *** to reach out to the people who she hired to load this container as these damagesAre not our fault.
