As General Manager of the company, I interviewed our funeral director who made the final arrangements with this family. At the...

time of the arrangements, the customer selected three floral pieces which totaled $1,170 plus sales tax. When the funeral director completed the final contract for charges, he inadvertently entered the charge for only two of the three floral pieces, totaling $710 plus sales tax. Less than a week later, the funeral director realized his oversight, added the charge for the third floral piece to the contract and made a courtesy call to the family about his error. The funeral home provided all three floral pieces and the family was pleased with all of our services, even sending a thank you card to the funeral director and support staff for all that we had done. Although the funeral home should be paid for supplying the selected floral piece, I've decided to remove the charge from the contract so the family won't owe anything further.
