Review: Tony (united corp) installed a paver driveway for me incorrectly that popped out after 6 months due to weather. I have tried to communicate with him to repair the issue for 5 months and he has avoided my calls and has not come back to repair the situation. I hired another contractor to fix the situation and discovered that he performed his services incorrectly not installing the pavers the correct way with rocks and stones just simply putting down 1" of stone dust below the pavers. this is why my driveway sunk under the vehicles wheels and popped from weather.Desired Settlement: I had another contractor come in tear up what he did and redid it correctly. the cost for this was $6000.00. The original cost of the work done by Tony in May 2012 was $12,000 which he requested paid in cash.

We were willing to address the customers concerns, despite the fact that his warranty had expired. Apparently the customer did not want to work around the weather interference. He unfortunately went ahead and hired another contractor.

I am rejecting this response because: my "warranty" did not expire after 6 months after installation. Furthermore the business resolution was to place cement under the pavers which is why they were using weather as their excuse for not resolving the issue when in fact cement would not have resolved any of the water issues. I have signed statements from true experts stating that the water issue occurred due to IMPROPER installation from the original contractor. The did follow proper protocol in the installation. No regard for drainage, no blue stone, just 1" of stone dust. I also have photos as evidence.

The customer chose to hire another contractor and alter our work. This voids any warranties (if any) as per his contract. We are standing by our original response.
