Review: I had United Lock change out my locks at my residence. He switched out front door handle, and locks.Desired Settlement: The door handle that was put on, doesn't match the old door handle, which has damaged the appearance of the door.

Response:

I explained to Mr. [redacted] that the hardware I had with me would not cover all the existing scars on his door. He wanted it installed right then and there and explained to me that he would be able to refinish his own door. The handleset which was removed from his door is no longer manufactured and is much larger than the handlesets on the market today. I spoke to Mr. [redacted] last week and gave him the option of a refund on the handleset, but would have to remove it from the door in order to do this. He declined our offer.
