After speaking to our Merchant [redacted] United Processing Advisors agreed to close the merchant account 10/19/I sent an email to have the account closed and in response I recieved the message below as confirmationI received the request to closed on 10/19/and that was the day I closed it.Account Closed 10/19/2015AGENT/ISO REQUEST After further review, UPA did another cost analysis to make sure our rates were better and saving our customer money and in fact there were savings [redacted] was comparing a statement where he did almost $10,more in processing and he paid about $more that monthIt was because of the higher volume that the bill was a little higher then his normalI tried to explain to [redacted] that was the case and he refused to listen and kept on threatening UPA if we do not close the accountI looked at his contract with UPA and decided to waive all Early Termination Fees and closed the merchant account regardless of [redacted] *mmerich financial obligation Finally, United Processing Advisors terminated [redacted] for other reasons and Mr [redacted] is not affiliated or no longer a contractor of UPA I received the request to closed on 10/19/and that was the day I closed itAccount Closed 10/19/AGENT/ISO REQUEST I received the request to closed on 10/19/and that was the day I closed itAccount Closed 10/19/AGENT/ISO REQUEST

United Processing Advisors has added the merchant's number to our do not call list as requested We have spoken with all of our employees in regards to courtesy and professionalism as we pride ourselves in our customer service We have taken the steps requested by the complaint and we feel that this complaint should be removed.Thank you

We wish we could have had the professional courtesy to discuss these issues before [redacted] posted to the BBB. We delivered equipment on 6/30/16 and the BBB complaint was posted the next day. UPA was out of office Monday as it was the 4th of July and returned to work 7/5/16 which at that time... discussed and resolved the issues. [redacted] and owner of the Salon have agreed to remove any negative remarks from the BBB as we respectfully backed out of our agreements. UPA has released merchant from all contractual agreements as we were not able to integrate with POS. We apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused and wish we could have been a better fit.

Please review our original complaint as their response does not discuss the BAIT/SWITCH tactics that were used by their sales staff. Further it does not address how they would not respond to my requests to correct the account until I filed this claim with your company. Terrible

He waited a whole month plus to close the account after the machine was returned I did not even have credit card machine it was return on 8/25/15 as the tracking shows but still billed for sept and oct and they were to take care of the PCI compliance they did not. It charged my account in October  , they were to take care of former merchant ( send them a letter ) they did not it incurred charges . they promised to install machine that Friday they did not a week later.  promised a 7" tablet for signing up never received. the machine charge was to be 29.00 That I have in writing,  it was 36.81there is no savings as they claim, there salesman's claim the discounts were wholesale pricing would be substantial enough that I would not know there was also a credit card machine payment. there was not enough savings that it would pay for the credit card machine as promised and for not processing anything in September or October they still charged me 230.00 plus the machine. This account should have been closed September 1 2015.my offer stands

4/7/2017 - BusinessUnited Processing Advisors has resolved this issue with the merchant.  Her merchant account was cancelled without any termination fees, refunded all the fees requested, and bought out the lease, because she felt a bait and switch tactic was used. We apologize if you felt this was a bait and switch tactic. We strive to provide excellent service with every merchant.  United Processing Advisors stand by their program and never uses bait and switch tactics to earn new business.   [redacted] also felt the company lacks good customer service.  The email chain clearly shows the company actively trying to resolve the issues. The issues were being addressed prior to her filing the complaint. Again, the merchant account has been cancelled, the lease has been cancelled, and all fees have been reimbursed.  What more is the merchant asking for here?

United Processing Advisors has cancelled the lease for the terminal, we have paid the merchant back for the 2 lease payments the merchant has paid, and we have closed the processing account as well without any fees charged to the merchant.
