Review: I purchased a brand new packaged heating and air conditioning system (heat pump) in July 2012. It arrived without a refrigerant charge and once installed and charged it leaked. The installer returned at least 3 times to repair and recharge the unit. Also, the unit had a bad reversing valve and appeared to have ben dropped or struck on one side. This winter it would almost immediately go into auxillary heat instead of using the heat pump. This caused my electric bills to be higher than ever at this house. This unit is supposed to be efficient but is less efficient than the one it replaced from 1978. Now it is not removing moisture from my indoor air and is not expelling moisture outside like it should. My repair man just left and said it has a charge but that it should have been replaced from the start by the manufacturer "[redacted]." He said United Refrigeration refused to replace this unit when he suggested it last July.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my entire installation cost and my electric bills from the past Winter that were three times higher than usual.
