discrinination of transport company
on 04/24/2023 I was hired by bennett international group llc. to pick up 2 ford f150 from laporte office to corpus christi as I arrived I noticed another company there loading the same vehicles not wearing the proper ppe that was required to be on property they was wearing tank tops with basketball shorts and tennis shoes there were others there wearing similar clothing nothing was being enforced I had all ppe except steel toe shoes so I backed up my trailer to the loading ramp and the ramp was broken I believe the gentleman jeremy was the kid in the photo im providing is his name not sure anyways,so I never touched the vehicles the employees did everything except chaining the units down to my trailer they wrongfully loaded my trailer which could've caused a big accident and hurt everybody but because they was the company employees I thought it was ok with united after they finished they went inside while I was chaining down the units and complained saying I was arguing with them and was unsafely loading the units on my trailer which the photos say different I have great friendship within united rentals and hold a high standered when working for them so I went to speak with the manager because I was upset she had been lied to she was looking at my tattoes sterio typeing me and said why I wasnt in full ppe attire I was in full company uniform with safety vest and I wasnt wearing steel toe shos at the time but if it had been a problem I would have went to purchase a pair and return to finish the job then she states that everything was ok and its water under the bridge to make me assume all was ok but as soon as I left she called the broker and told them that I was baned from their facility and to never return because of the damage she caused to my company ive lost 5k in work because her lies protecting her employee even after I showed her the photo that her employee was doing unsafe loading she didnt care she stated she has her guys back so I had no chance im trying to save my relationship with the company so im reporting this to the higher management that manager needs to be watched she is allowing unsafe loading and n ot watching her guys,and lieing to company owners there was no reason for her actions towards me she needs to be disapline for her actions and unsafe conduct on how she performs her duties within the company if you need anything feel free to contact me john hernandez owner of asset transportation llc at 832-574-9790 cell

United Rentals Eagle Colorado office, falsely accused me of damaging their equipment.
After returning the rental equipment, I received a repair cost that falsely accused me of damaging their equipment. They had no evidence to show I caused the damage. They just want to make extra money by charging me by manufacturing falsely invoice. They should be ashamed of themselves and go out of business. They deserve no business from anybody. Avoid that disorganized and faulty place.

[redacted] , Sorry for the late response but this letter was sent to the wrong location and I just received it yesterday and I hope it’s not too late to get this resolvedThis truck in question was one of our sales reps truck until June of this year and was then turned into rental and I’ve attached a service record from the dealer in which we had the truck serviced on 07-28-and was not rented again until this customer rented the truck and also I’ve attached a copy of the rental contract and condition report we fill out with the customer and have it signed After that rental my sales rep has been driving the truck daily and still is because his is in the shop and he has had no issues with the truck un question My inside sales rep [redacted] was the one who dealt with the customer and I have his statement below on the whole situation and we did give the customer a discount because the actual charges should have been weeks but we only charged them for one week [redacted] ’s statement belowCustomer came in on 09/01/right before 5pm National desk put in a reservation I believe under her daughter I had to change reservation to her Was going to rent for a day rental and bring back on Monday before 9am We went over truck with customer and [redacted] She said we were the only company in the area who had a crew cab available She had no issues with truck going out besides a couple scratches Monday came around and truck did not come inI called her on Monday 09/afternoon or Tuesday 09/the latest She said she tried to bring it in but we were closed I had told we are closed on weekends before she took truck out She said she could not bring unit it that day because she lives in Oakdale so I told her bring it in next morning and we would not charge her for an extra day Next day came around and nothing I called her and left her a message To this point customer had not complained nor had any issues with pickup truck besides saying that back seat was missing a seat belt Got a hold of customer on 09/06/and told her that I would have to charge her for a week rental since she never brought back the pickup truck I went ahead and charged her credit card over the phone She had multiple excuses why she could not bring in She said she broke her leg and needed the truck longer than anticipated I had GPS unit and looked like it was parked in a hotel in Santa Cruz She said he had to sleep in truck because she could not find a room and she kept going on with excesses I told her to bring in the unit Friday end of day and I would only charge her for the week She said she could not make 5pm on Friday because she lived in Oakdale At this point I told her we have a branch in Modesto or Stockton she can bring in eod Friday but I would prefer her to come in to Merced She said she could not make Modesto by 5pm either She wanted to bring in over the weekend I finally told her bring it in on Monday morning and we will see what we can do Monday 09/12/came around and got a call from customer She said she had left the truck at someone’s house with the key inside the truck for us to go pickup That’s when she and her son said truck had issues I believe it was her son I told her I would go get the truck check it out and get back to her John took me to go get the truck here in Merced First thing I did was look in back seat for the missing seat belt I lifted up the seat and I saw the seat belts tucked under the seat I went around truck and everything looked good I looked inside truck and everything looked good No lights on dash Only thing we smelled was a strong odor, I think of vinegar I called her and said truck looked good and that I was going to close the truck to a week charge and not charge her for pickup or all the extra days That’s when again she began complaining about apparent issues with the truck and sent an email with all the issues they had with the truck She was talking with her son and he also had complaints about the truck Thank You Pencils have erasers - accidents don't! In August I had new carpeting installed in my homeAt the time, I was told it was a very good quality carpetWithin a couple months, I noticed some of the strands were pulling out of the carpet, especially in the high traffic areasI am finding loose strands of carpet fibers pulled completely out of the weave almost on a daily basisI called the store, Floor Decorator's Carpet One in Bremerton, and they sent an inspector to look at the damageHe stated it was caused by my family pets damaging the carpetHe took pictures and returned to the storeWhen I called for a decision on the carpet, I was told the warranty doesn't cover abuse in the homeMy animals are not abusing the carpet and to suggest they are deliberately causing damage was a very unfair assessment of my life styleWhen I made the purchase, I had discussed the fact that I had animals in the home and wanted something that was compatibleMy old carpeting never had this problemTheir decision to dismiss me is dishon

Review: I rented Cart-Away Yard Concrete Mixing Trailer from United Rentals loaded with their concrete mix on 01/20/14. Poured an extension of my driveway with that concrete. After a few weeks the concrete started crumbling on surface showing that the concrete is weak due to not having enough cement in that mix. I asked a few concrete professionals on their opinion and they agreed that the concrete mix doesn't have enough cement. I called several times United Rentals describing my problem and was promised to be contacted back with their decision. I also sent them a picture of my problem. Later I emailed [redacted], senior vice president of United Rentals and also sent registered letter to their corporate office in Stamford, Connecticut weeks ago. Unfortunately my problem has not been resolved and nobody ever contacted me back.Desired Settlement: Several concrete contractors told me that the concrete has to be removed and poured again and trying to fix just the surface will only make it look good but very soon the driveway will start cracking and crumbling again. United Rentals should either fix my driveway or pay for it.
