Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/07) */ First of all I have no reason as to why the credit bureaus have not picked up our request to have this account removed from listing this accountWe have requested it be deleted twiceI will personally contact the bureaus and ensure we get this situation resolvedIt appears my staff has sent you a letter indicating this account should not have been listed, if you need any additional information please do not hesitate to contact me directly

[redacted] Joint liability for family expenses The attached statute explains the fact that married couples in the state of [redacted] has the fuduciary responsibility for all family expenses Once the bill is paid the credit bureaus will be requested to be deleted

This consumer has never spoken to anybody in this office? I am unaware of how we can be rude when we have never spoken to you? If we had spoken you would have been instructed to send us your police report and a copy of your drivers license or state issued ID You must also go to [redacted] and file an identity theft affidavit Once we have the affidavit, police report and copy of drivers license/state issued ID we will review

I'm not attaching any documents, I'm just telling you the statute They can look it up

It is your debt, as explained Arizona is a community property state You are responsible for your husbands medical bills and he is responsible for yours Again, emergency care does NOT need a signature or contract You REFUSE to help us appeal the insurance which could make this go away You hang up on us when all we are trying to do is help I will remove this from your credit if you help us with an appeal

I am unsure as to why you would reject our response You sent us a dispute letter which was received in December 18th We responded with a complete accounting of the debt in dispute and mailed to the provided address on December 23rd You file a complaint with this organization that it was not received or never sent demanding your credit to be cleared Once you received the backup through this portal, most likely again, you called and paid the amount on the invoice on January 20th We sent you a letter stating that once paid we would request to the bureaus that this account be removed from your bureau as a courtesy to you prior to payment and the representative was extremely courteous to you Then you reject our response and demand that your credit bureau be cleared again one day later We appreciate the fact that you have taken care of your obligation and we will abide by the letter YOU received prior to payment and rejection of our response in which we are no way obligated to remove but did so as a courtesy to you It will take several weeks for the bureaus to pick up the request for deletion If you have any problems with this process or are in need of any additional help, please do not hesitate to contact our offices directly

This charge is a result of a co-pay from a date of service of August 2016, the account was placed in our office in July well after the day delay However, it is our policy to remove medical listings within days from payment If the listing has not been removed by November 30th 2017, please reach out to our office

We are very interested in resolving your complaint, unfortunately the name you provided is different then the name we have for that transaction I am unable to respond in this public forum until I know who this other person is Our process is to actually delete a credit bureau listing for this type of account and I show we have requested that from the bureaus in July I will be happy to assist you but we will need to talk over the phone [redacted] ***

As I typically am confused by this behavior, I will try to understand how many times a responsible party must be notified that there is a bill outstanding? The doctors office told you there would be a $co-pay prior to the event They sent you four letters and emails as reminders to the copay URS sent you letters, followed up with a phone call that we have recorded that you acknowledged the bill but never called back as you indicated you would Even if this was the last thing we did, shouldn't that be enough? Why did you not call us back and offer small payments? Why do you expect additional letters and messages? Why did this ever go past the day we talked on the phone, you acknowledged you "forgot about the bill" and at that time you were busy but you would call back on Friday to take care of Then almost a year later when tings must be progressed, you are the one upset? The doctors office had to hire someone to get you to pay They only receive a portion of the bill because you choose to ignore it Now YOU are complaining? You do not accept my response because we did not notify you enough, I will truly never understand

The bill is a result of a medical expense by Mrs [redacted] husbandIn Arizona, a community property state, the spouse is responsible for medical debtsThere is no agreement/signature required for emergency medical careThe best option is to actually work with this agency to help with the appeal process and stop hanging up on us
