Priority Mail should have a disclaimer: "We will not compensate you for anything homemade." They should say this as soon as they tell you, all packages have coverage up to $50.00.
Priority Mail lost two packages in less than one month. I feel my sister deserves compensation for her work and expenses
The first package appeal: the Postal Claims Department informed us that it scanned as delivered. Our apartment building has security camerasIt was not. The second package appeal: The Claims Dept rejected, on the grounds of what we submitted as proof of value (a professional guideline on how to price cakes.) The Post Office did not say that the second package scanned as delivered. They still offered no compensation.
I never got two deliveries. My sister's labor accounted for nothing. The Post Office walked off scot-free.
