Review: I was a student with them until April 2015 and recently transferred to another university in May 2015. When requesting my official transcripts to be sent to the new university I had no response from Unites States University. I called to find out why it was taking too long and I was told there was a hold. I inquired about the hold and I was told that I had a balance from December 2014 due to me taking too many classes in one year. I have been studying on a student loan which is why I am really surprised I had a balance. I can not afford to pay back the balance of $1250 in one payment, so I have arranged a payment plan but I cannot continue my education until my official transcripts have been released to the new university. I think this situation is very unfair especially because I was never notified that I had an existing balance and because I have to place my education on hold. I hope this doesn't to other students. Had I been informed about the balance in December 2014 I would've made payment arrangements back then. At my current job I get a raise every 15 units I take in completing a higher degree and this too is placed on hold because I cannot request official transcripts. So I am also being help back in earning professional growth units.Desired Settlement: I would like it that they allowed me to move forward and continue my education. I would like my official transcripts to be released. I have no problem remaining on a payment plan and I hope this does not occur to other students as myself.

Review: After initially being told that my portion of tuition payment would be $60/month for one year (after the VA disbursed its funds according to my G.I. Bill agreement), I was charged what I an additional $1,258.34. One of the employees of the school's business office was gracious enough to write off $500 of it so that I wouldn't have to pay for an additional 1 3/4 years before I could get my Master's degree. Now, I am being informed that the payment would be $2,550 and that the VA would have to submit another payment from the Fall II semester (which was October-December 2012) to the school. While trying to hear from the VA on this issue, I am still being told that I was going to have to be responsible for the remainder of the balance. I'm OK with paying 448.34 (which is the 758.34 I was originally told I would be responsible for minus the $300 dollars I have paid at $60/month for the last 6 months).Desired Settlement: I would like to have my bill adjusted as described above and a formal apology for the mental stress that this has caused, since I am not able to get a better position or advance in my educational studies until I have my Master's degree in hand.
