Review: I purchased a home from [redacted] on May 18, 2015 for $357,000. The home came with a HVAC unit that was defective without my knowledge. I moved in the home on June 1st and the HVAC unit has not worked three times in two months. It stopped working the first week I moved in. The service company [redacted] assigned to me are not able to come up with a long term solution to fix unit. I have reached out to [redacted] who sold the product to me as well as the manufacture United Technologies. Neither company is taking responsibility for the defective product. The model number is [redacted]; Serial number; [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want the defective [redacted] HVAC replaced with a new product that is not defective

Our records indicate that Mr. [redacted] has experienced multiple problems with the [redacted] in his unit. The part has been replaced on 2 occasions. The recent replacement of the COIL and the [redacted] has resolved the issue.The Carrier warranty does not provide for unit replacement as all equipment is field repairable.
