United Paving

United Paving overcharged from the verbal estimate they gave me by $1,700 and have ruined my driveway. It's not repairable and will need to be torn out and re-done. They covered my sewer clean out, left both thin areas, areas of excessive gravel, wet tar on edges and in bedding plant areas. The finished pave is above the grade of both garage door slab and exterior doorway.

United Paving was doing work in our neighborhood and approached us about having some asphalt work done. We were told they would give us one time offer of $3/ft..normally over $4/ft. The guy said the area was approx. 1,000 ft. Maybe even closer to 800. We talked it over and decided we could afford $3,000 for the project. United Paving came back the next morning and did the area we agreed on. They then invoiced us for over $6000. After telling them that's more than twice of what they told us they reduced it to $6,000. Two of our neighbors had the same experience. Now our vacation is in jeopardy.
The salesman was Charles G but his son in law ( Pat *** ) was the payment collector.
