I have reviewed the facts again concerning the member's complaint against Unity Health Insurance and have documented as such.One of my staff members and I were involved in the phone call with this memberI documented details of that call and Unity's attempts at resolution in my earlier letter to youThere is no additional information to addI believe that we handled the member's concern with the urgency that was required and treated the member with the respect that Unity requires of all its employees.The Premium Billing Department is unable to record phone conversations due to credit card payment compliance regulations.Please let me know if you have any additional questions.Regards,*** ***

I have reviewed the facts concerning the member's complaint against Unity Health Insurance and have documented as such.On April 4, the member called because he was charged twice for the same month's premiumThe member paid the invoice in full and then set up auto payThe member made
his first payment on March 16,The member then set up auto pay to pull from his account on the 1st of every monthThe system pulled the invoiced amount and because My Chart is not a real time service, it pulled the invoiced amount which the member had paid previously.Member requested a refund on April 4, 2016, I spoke with the member and let him know that it takes 7 days to make sure the payment clearedI suggested the member could work with his bank and many times because he did not authorize the second payment they will not chargeHe said his bank will charge and wanted me to take care of the refund.I asked if I could call the member back in order for me to verify other needed informationI called the member back on April 5, and let him know that I would have the refund check created that dayI let him know that he could come and pick it up at our Middleton office or I could mail it to himMember refused and stated that he had canceled the transaction with bankI advised him ifhe did receive any associated fees with the transaction, to mail the information to me and I would have the fees reimbursed.We believe this matter has been resolved to the member's satisfactionPlease let me know if you have any additional questions.Regards,*** ***

Basically Unity doesn't have control on their billing and it is purely based on assumptions than reality. I have been victimized due to that as my account ran into negative balance due to pure negligence of Unity billing operations. I would insist to pay the penalty for the inconvenience and make sure that they process the future payments thoroughly. If the case cannot be settled, I wouldn't mind to open legal suit against Udemy as I am extremely disappointed by their operations and customer service.
