It is disappointing to hear the [redacted] feel this way.  We strive to make the building process as stress free as possibly.  Contract negotiations between buyer and seller in real estate often go back and forth (counter offers) and this is very common.  They wrote a contract that had a...

"screened porch" the price however was incorrect.  We countered by changing the description to "covered porch" with the WHOLE contract attached NOT just one page.  I would be happy to provide the Revdex.com with a copy of this email including the attachment.  This file is approximately ** MG so it would require an email address from Revdex.com to send it.  The real estate agent for the [redacted] reached out to the owner of the company and he realized it was a pricing error and we changed the language in the contract back to "covered screened porch".  This all happened the next day.  I'm not sure what "a slew of problems" entails but once provided with details would be happy to respond.  The customer contracted for "Add sound deadening batten insulation to walls surrounding study - $[redacted]".  This is exactly what is installed (see attached copy).  Batten insulation does have sound deadening qualities and is specifically marketed by the major manufacturers for this purpose.

The drainage issue in Mr. [redacted]'s yard was in part caused by the installation of his fence installed in the drainage easement (shown in the photo) after closing and the trench dug by his cable/telephone company (shown in the photo).  However, the property next to Mr. [redacted]'s home (also shown in...

the photo) is also a CraftMaster Home so we will address the drainage issue even though some of the problem was created by Mr. [redacted]'s contractor's.  We are working with our subcontractor to address the issue however it is currently raining and very wet.  Once the ground dries out, we will address the issue.

Sorry I could not get back to you sooner regarding my complaint. We have not come to a resolution, and likely will not.  We were told to “just agree to disagree” on the incorrect materials used, and we will not be refunded.  We were offered to break the contract and receive all the money back we have put into the house (which I understand from talking to other neighbors is a common response of the company), and we are not willing to start from scratch.  We will continue to watch every move they make.Word of mouth gets around, and this not a builder I would recommend except to my worst enemies. Thank you

Was sold a lemon. They received the vehicle less than 24 hours later but won't give my money backI purchased a dodge minivan from Universal Auto over a month ago along with my 2 daughters. Less than after 30 minutes of driving, the motor began to knock and smokingcausing it to cut off before pulling in my driveway. I called the person iI bought it from and he ensured me he would come get it the next day. I told him if it was motor problems I didn't want it back but I did want my money. Been calling and texting with no results. Wasn't asking for all of my money but now I feel like I'm entitled. I feel as if I'm being played with as bout my money. The seller told me he was gonna junk it to give me SOME of my 1300 I spent back whe n all I asked for was 600 and can't even get that much. My daughters can't even receive titles to their vehicles. After telling my 17 year old she couldn't purchase 1from them in front of them, they took it upon themselves to sell her one anyway. All I want is my money and not in partsDesired SettlementI was seeking 600 now I want the entire 1300 plus pain and suffering if not received within 1 week

Complaint[redacted] sold me a salvage vehicle/told me it wasnt wrecked and had to hire attorney to get the title.In March 2014 I found a [redacted] on [redacted] that [redacted] had for sale. He agreed to meet me on Sunday, upon arriving the vehicle was a 1996 in stead of a 2001 as advertised. I purchased the vehicle and was told I would receive the title within 7 days in the mail. We mad a cash deal and I received a bill of sale. After a month went by still no title. He wouldnt take my calls. I researched and found that [redacted] had sold me a Salvage vehicle and it was still registered in an Insurance Companys name because he hadnt applied for a title. I hired an attorney to help. It took almost 3 months to get the title and I had to pay $257 to get it. He lied to me, broke our verbal contract and commited fraud. This man needs to pay for his wrong doings. Luckily a gentle man stepped up at [redacted] Automotives where we did the paperwork at got the title for me. I bought a car at Univ. Auto Body and Service Center, paid in full, they won't give me the title. I bought a car from Universal Auto Body and Service Center on 2484 Summer Avenue from [redacted] in July 2014. Paid $10,000 first and $2,000 before the due date of 8/18/14 for the full price. I've been trying to register my car, (my temporary license plate expired in September), the car is sitting at home and I cannot drive it. I cannot register the car because they say I need a full title. I was only given a "TN Certificate of Title extension form/Re-assignment supplement to a certificate of title". I've been calling Mr. [redacted] and his brother, have showed up at their place asking him to give me the full title for the vehicle. They've been giving me the run around, I still don't have my title. They claim they do not have a fax number and the email they provided bounced back. Mr. [redacted] has stated I can pay him $850 for them to get me the title but I just don't trust them anymore. Desired SettlementI want Universal Auto Body and Service Center to give me my car title; I have paid in full and it's the right thing to do.

I HAVE A 2002 CHRYSLER VOYAGER MINI VAN. I TOOK IT TO THIS REPAIR SHOP TO HAVE A TIMING BELT AND A WATER PUMP PUT ON.MY VAN WAS REPAIRED AT THIS SHOP BY A MECHANIC NAMED [redacted]. WHEN I WENT TO GET MY VAN, IT HESITATED TO START. WHEN IT DID START, I DROVE THE VAN AND ANTIFREEZE LEAKED INSIDE OF THE VAN UNDER THE ACCELERATOR. NEXT IT CUT OFF. THEN IT RAN HOT AND STARTED SMOKING OUT OF THE DASH BOARD. I HAD A CRANK SHAFT SENSOR REPLACED FOR $65. THE TIMING BELT AND THE WATER PUMP KIT COST $158.99. I WAS CHARGED $300 IN LABOR. WHEN I GOT THE VAN HOME,IT CUT OFF AND WOULDNT START. I CALLED [redacted], AND HE CAME 6 HOURS LATER TO LOOK AT IT. HE SAID THAT ITS NOT STARTING BECAUSE I NEED NEW SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES. WHEN I HAD SOMEONE ELSE LOOK AT IT AND MY VACCUM HOSES WERE MISSING. [redacted] HAD REPLACED MY VACCUM HOSES WITH A DRINKING STRAW. WHERE MY VACCUM HOSES WENT TO, I DO NOT KNOW. I CALLED [redacted] TO ASK HIM ABOUT THESE ISSUES, HE WOULDNT ANSWER MY CALL NOR RETURN THEM. 2 DAYS LATER HE CALLED BACK AND I STATED MY COMPLAINTS TO HIM AND HE TALKED OVER ME AND HUNG THE PHONE UP IN MY FACE. I TRIED CALLING BACK AND I GOT NO ANSWER. MY VEHICLE WAS TOWED ON DECEMBER 11,2013 TO A TRUSTWORTHY MECHANIC WHO INVESTIGATED EVERYTHING AND TOLD ME THAT MY MOTOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND I NEEDED A NEW HEATER CORE. I HAD NO ISSUES WITH MY VEHICLE IN THE PAST. I NEVER HAD TO HAVE A JUMP START. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY VAN. I ALSO HAD A THROTTLE PUMP SENSOR REPLACED.Desired SettlementI WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY MONEY BACK FOR THE PARTS PAYED FOR. I WOULD LIKE MY $300 LABOR FEE. I WOULD LIKE $2000 FOR REPLACEMENT OF MY MOTOR AND HEATER CORE

They have failed to comply with agreements after I have payed them no return phone calls and or texts[redacted] I meet a few months ago 3/07/2014 through a mutual frind made a deal about a car with [redacted] with the understanding that I would be recieving great service and a decent car settling an agreement with [redacted] was quite difficult the first few times he showed me a car I declined but still had a promise of getting something better so considering I had money tied up with him so I waited and dealt. After recieving a vehicle from him I was under the impression it was something for me to drive until he had once again found something better never recieved calls back from him about a deal I consistently went to the shop but got no where in my search or plee he now has switched me over to another car on 4/05/2014 with the promise that there would be no more hold ups but upon me retuning the car I was driving and waiting for the car I was promised [redacted] leeft never returned to the shop and is holding the car and not responding to any of my calls or texts and is always gone when I appear at the shop.Desired SettlementI am askinig for atleast half of my money back I know that I recieved some type of service from [redacted] but it was not satisfactory and I have not recieved a car which was the agreement
