To whom it may concern: Universal Auto Sales, Inc(“UAS”) specifically and categorically denies that [redacted] ***, the owner of the stock of the corporation, has ever instructed any employee either to fail deliberately to fix any vehicle sold by UAS or intentionally to damage any vehicle to be returned to a customer The first time Mr [redacted] brought his car in for service, UAS mechanics took apart the throttle of the vehicle and found sandpaper UAS does not know how the sandpaper got into the throttle, but affirmatively states that no action by it or any of its employees caused the sandpaper to be there UAS replaced the throttle, cleaned out the remains of any foreign substances, and believed that there should have been no further issue arising from the throttle With respect to Mr [redacted] ’s other comments, UAS respectfully agrees to disagreeThank you for your consideration, [redacted] , Manager

In response to your complaint we sold the vehicle nothing else promised or due You were suppose to bring in your down payment the next day and didn't show So there is still $down payment still do, which was never paid With that being said we will be more than happy to help fix vehicle that you bought as-is As far as the car being impounded that was your responsibility to get the car to us to look at If the car broke down, you should have contacted a tow company, or at least used the towing policy on your insurance not just leave the vehicle on the side of the road Even though it wasn't our responsibility that the car was impounded, we will pay for half of the impound bill to help you out with the situation Please contact us so we can move forward in helping you get your vehicle out You can call 503-990-for further help ask for Brady or Laura Thank You

It was not because of the use of a valet key it was because there was sandpaper in the air filter which when I went there they said oh yeah we found some in there already to I have witnesses one of whom still has a vehicle from them and he was with me when I got the car had problems when I looked at it and still had those problems from the time I gave it backI have videos and pictures also of the problems with the vehicle I would love nothing more then for them to try and take legal actions I have so much proof and witnesses to the problems of the car they gave it to me with the check charging system light on said they would service it and could never figure out what is wrong with the car I had to drive it since I got the car with every two seconds the check charging system light beeping and flashing off I missed appointments after calling to tell them I was in my way they said they were busy that day and it wouldn’t even get looked at let alone fixed that day I work everyday I told them when I made the appointments that I would need it looked at the same day I made themI even have people who have worked for them previously and they stated that the owner would tell them to deliberately not fix or rig up certain problems this is from a former mechanic of the businessI have so much more to type and say but I’ll save it for whenever these legal proceedings take placeThank you!

To whom it may concern: Universal Auto Sales, Inc(“UAS”) respectfully disputes the complaint asserted by Mr***. Mr*** purchased two extended service plans with his vehicle. Pursuant to those service plans, UAS repaired or replaced the throttle body, the intake valve, the
starter, plugs and wires, and the gas cap, and checked the brakes and charging system. One part not covered by the extended warranty plans was replaced at Mr***’s expense. This repair was authorized by Mr*** prior to UAS performing the work. Over the course of his ownership of the vehicle, Mr*** made and missed several service appointments. We have no record of his having difficulty scheduling appointments. After two members of our staff drove to meet Mr*** where his vehicle had stalled, they determined that the problems Mr*** had were not mechanical issues with the vehicle, but rather arose from the fact that he attempted to use his valet key (which is designed to allow the vehicle to be driven only a short distance before stalling to prevent theft) rather than his full-service key to drive the vehicleThe contract Mr*** signed with UAS required him to pay all amounts due. UAS sent Mr*** the notice required by Rhode Island law to be provided prior to any action by a car dealership to enforce its rights under the contractIn sum, UAS met its obligations under the extended service plans and has taken the steps legally required to enforce its rights under the purchase contract which Mr*** executedThank you for your consideration, *** ***, Manager

[Yeah okay, we’ll see what these legal proceedings say and who they side with, with the mounting evidence I have. They said they took all the sandpaper and foreign items out but that is not true because I had someone of my own look at it and he found more sandpaper in it when I told them about they said yeah we found some in it also. I have witness statements and the sworn testimony of the former employee to cut corners and not fix certain things so we’ll see what happens if it. I’m done replying on this now it gets no where besides more lies from the car lot and comments to try and make themselves look like they did everything correctly which we both know they did not. Also the manager or owner whoever he is Tom also swore at me on the phone numerous times after getting fed up with my car constantly breaking down. He’s said “[redacted] and hung the phone up on me. Hopefully these legal proceedings come soon so I can tell my side of the story and show my mounting piles of evidence to my side. .]
