Universal Business Publishing

Review: Universal Business Publishing has contacted our office several times regarding an account that we never authorized. Our business is a local not-for-profit community theater and we do not advertise on a large scale. The gentleman that has called is very rude, and at times he uses profane language and shouts into the phone. There is a recording of myself, the Executive Director, confirming our information over the phone, however there is not a recording of me approving the charge of $769.95 or requesting that our business advertise with UBP. I am simply not authorized to approve that, it would have to go through our board of directors, and clearly it has not. UBP is billing us a total of $769.95 for a listing in the "National Business to Business Guide," which we did not request nor authorize. The invoice number is [redacted]; their listed phone number is [redacted] and fax [redacted]; their website is www.universalbusinesspublishig.com; and listed Tax ID #[redacted].Desired Settlement: We would simply like information mailed to us that this has been handled and that [redacted], in [redacted], [redacted] will not be bothered by the business in the future.

Review: I have been invoiced by this company in sept 2011 and I paid and I also received a letter of closure and I also said I an to be put on the do not call list.I keep receiving phone calls and invoices from these people and it does not ever stop. I want the phone calls to stop and the invoices to stop and I never want to be contact ever. Not by Universal business publishing or anyone else they are affiliated with.This matter has to stop immediatley.Desired Settlement: the invoices to be zero balance. The phone calls to stop and put on the international do not call list forever.If they are affiliated with other companies or have another company name I want on the international do not call with them too.Everything has to stop...stop wasting my time and money.
