Universal Concrete required a deposit ($200) to hold the price on an all cash project that was to be done in June, Not a big job, just seal and apply a decorative Finnish to a 7xfront porchI have called at least a dozen times and stopped by their shopI have left messages and never received a return callI have talked to the sales person twice and been told I was on schedule for the next weekNo show!!! This company is the absolute worst and I will never do business with them again

Excellent company to work with Framed and poured concrete around new in-ground pool, applied spray deck coating after it cured and even installed a gravel border around the new fenced in pool area Crew showed up on time as scheduled, work hard in crazy heat and cleaned up after themselvesVery happy with the results and would definitely use again Highly recommend!!

Universal Concrete did a wonderful job on the concrete surrounding my new poolThey helped with the design of the large patio and had the project done on time Very hard working crew and very meticulous about their work

We recently had Universal Concrete install a concrete deck around our new inground pool.They did a fantastic job and we are thoroughly pleased they were on time, very neat, completely cleaned the work area before leaving for the day Their tile work and the finished edge around the pool look great we would highly recommend them

We signed a contract with Universal on 2/16/to extend the concrete by our poolThe dimensions were 7'x34'This was contingent on HOA approvalWe asked who should notify HOA and we were told Universal wouldIn mid April we were told by Universal that the project was approved by our HOA
When we checked with HOA we were told nothing was ever submittedWe tried calling Universal several times and they would not answer our calls or return our messages
On April 21,I took pictures, filled out a ARB for our HOA approval of the project
On April 23,board members brought our papers to us but changed the dimensions to 6'x34' because of the property easementThe reduction was over % smaller yet they were only offering a reduction of just over 4% and were not willing to negotiateWe were trying to negotiate a fair price and Univers

We recently had an inground pool installed in Myrtle Beach and Universal Concrete did a fabulous job installing the pool tile and forming and pouring the concrete around the pool creating our own oasis We are so pleased with the result! Frank is very accommodating as we do not live in Myrtle Beach full time We had a very small window of time that we could be down there and Frank had it all formed out for us to view exactly when he said it would be ready for viewing It was exactly what we wanted and he was back the next day with his awesome hardworking crew and it was poured Fabulous company to work with! Universal will definitely be our concrete contractor for an future jobs!

Lack of customer service after job was done and paid for
We have been extremely unhappy with Universal Concrete from the get go Right after the concrete was poured; two of the three sides of it surrounding the pool in several areas was/is literally crumbling to the touch They did come by when I wasn't home to patch one section that was an issue, but left the other as it When I tried to follwith them to let them know, that I still wasn't satisfied with the results, they simply ignored my emails, phones calls and registered letters The concrete continues to be breaking off in those sections and now large cracks are appearing around the hand rail going into the pool
We don't understand the concrete company's lack of customer service then and nowWe understand with any concrete some cracking is normal, but we want to insure that these large cracks be repaired/stopped so not to be an issue further down the road All we want is for someone to come out when we are the

Universal Concrete designed an amazing fire pit for my new back yard They first poured a beautiful circular stamped concrete patio and then designed a fire pit to perfectly match the dry stacked stone that was on my preexisting outdoor kitchen The project was completed on schedule and for a great price
