Response take by phone: They signed the contract and put down a non refundable $deposit The work was to begin 4/1/ This deposit is to reserve the time for their project and no other job was booked for that time They then contacted me to say they did not want to
move forward with the project

Mr His correct that some glass has been installed but the matter has not been fully resolved Mr His expected to return to the premises to install a second piece of glass that is needed to prevent water leakage in addition, Mr Hhas not preformed the touch up work that is needed due to the leak from the lack of any glass being installed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. we signed an electronic contract on 1/27/17 and were told that we would receive a copy of our contract and a receipt reflecting our $500 deposit.    On 2/18/17. I texted the business asking for a copy of our contract and was told that it would be resent.  on 2/28/17 still never received our contract and asked to send via email.  on 3/1/17 asked again for a copy of our signed contract and a recipe to reflect deposit and figure out a tentative start date.  Still no response from business owner.  on 3/2/17 received a response from business stating hey had not received messages, however the text messages were marked READ on our phones and were received.  We stated we wanted our deposit back.     As of today's date, we have not received ANY copy of what we signed nor a receipt of our deposit.  We also never received the right of recision paperwork that should accompany any business contract as well.   I have no idea what that contract states, as we have NEVER received a copy of what we signed..... we have the right by law to received a copy of what we signed and also the right of recision.   I spoke with the NYS Attorney General's office and was told that under general laws, Article 36A we have the right to a copy of the contract that we signed.  As of today, we still have not received a copy of the contract.  We are scheduled to appear in small claims court on 4/10/17, if this is not settled.   We are therefore requesting  a copy of our signed contract, our full deposit of $500, plus the court fees that we incurred totaling $10.30, bringing the total to $510.30.  We still prefer to settle this amicably , and want the $510.30 and a copy of our signed contract back to us on or before 4/6/17.
