Review: I was interested in purchasing a vehicle from this Dealership and went to view the carin March 2014. I made it clear to the sales man ([redacted]) that I would not be seeking a loan from them and did not need any credit from their business or affiliates. In my subsequent conversations with their [redacted]), I also specifically told him that if I were to purchase the vehicle from his business, that I would not need any financing from him or his affiliated finance companies.I purchased the vehicle from Universal Exotic Autos on April [redacted] 2014 using a certified check and cash for the full amount of the purchase. I did not provide any personal information to Universal Autos/[redacted] or [redacted] except what was required to complete the title and registration for the vehicle. At no time did I give consent for anyone at Universal Exotic Autos to access my credit report.I was notified on April [redacted] 2014 by my credit protection Agency (Identity Guard), that someone at Universal Autos had illegally accessed my personal credit file.As of the present time - I do not know why they pulled my credit report?Who has access to this information?What was this information used for?What potential financial harm I may incur in the future from this information being Public.This is clearly an EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE business practice that violates my privacy rights and could lead to financial and mental stress.I contacted [redacted] and [redacted] and asked why my credit report was pulled.They both denied that this was the case, dispite clear evidence to the contrary.Desired Settlement: 3 years of service from a reputable organization that involves .1) Credit Monitoring Protection.2) Fraud Alert.3) Insurance that covers loss due to Identity Theft.
