Review: Fail to refund down payment if he couldn't come to an agreement with the bank as stated in documents signed.
On February 11th of 2013 I deposited the amount of: $1900 into Mr. [redacted] account with the promised and papers sign that he was going to try and reduce my mortgage payments from my home. We kept communicating til July of 2013 after that I lost all communication from him. I tried calling sending text messages with no respond. I tried calling his wife and him till the end of December with no luck. All I'm seeking for is to get my money back and that this doesn't happen to anyone else.Desired Settlement: I want a total refund as agreed in documents signed.
Total amount to pay is: $1,900.
Review: Did not obtain a loan modification as promised in their written money back guarantee. Then will not refund $895.00.
Paid them $895.00 June 18, 2012. They failed to obtain a loan modification and in March 9 agreed to refund my money "within 90 days". Their 90 days are up June 9 and now they are not responding to phone or Email messages.
I have their written money back guarantee signed by [redacted]. The owner...Desired Settlement: My $895.00 back immediately.

Review: I paid Universal Housing of California, Inc (owned by [redacted]) and [redacted] and [redacted], his assistant, the sum of $4,100 to modify my loan on my home in 2013 and 2014. They filed two skeleton Chap 13 bankruptcies for me in late 2013 that were improperly filed and immediately dismissed by the court after three weeks. My lender (Nationstar Mortgage)told me that there has been NO ACTIVITY on the account since August, 2013.They totally abandoned me in August and kept receiving payments from me for absolutely no work except the two bankruptcies, which a paralegal can only charge $125 for completing the documents. However, they never completed the bankruptcies and they were dismissed. I was told that only licensed paralegals can charge for bankruptcy preparation and the most they can charge is $125 per bankruptcy, but only if it is properly prepared and filed, but mine were never completed. Universal referred me to another company in Los Angeles for filing bankruptcy, who I paid $700 inDecember 19-23, 2013 and another $700 on January 28, 2014. Everyone knows that I can only file two bankruptcies in 12 months, which were filed earlier in 2013. [redacted] and [redacted] told me to pay the $1,400 to the Los Angeles people. I believe [redacted] and [redacted] are associated with the Los Angeles people or the $1,400 actually went back to [redacted] and [redacted] as ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was done on any bankruptcy after the two bankruptcies filed in the fall of 2013. Everyone knows that I cannot file more than these two bankruptcies in 2013. The $1,400 payment is included in the total $4,100 paid.Desired Settlement: The actions of Universal Housing of California, Inc and [redacted] and his assistant, [redacted], was illegal as they did little or nothing and then abandoned me. My home is scheduled for auction on Monday, February 24, 2014. I want all of my $4,100 refunded to me as their services were worthless.
