RE: [redacted]
To Whom It May
Concern:
This is
regarding Ms. [redacted] complaint.  Regarding the first issue of the entire
payment made for her auto policy, which was done in error.  She called and
informed me of it, at which point I sincerely apologized and stated that the
person that uploaded the policy didn’t realize the Paid in Full option was
checked vs. the monthly EFT.  As for her Progressive policy, I did fax a
Cancellation Form to Progressive to cancel her policy approximately a week
after I uploaded the auto policy.  She then called and informed me it was
still not cancelled at which time I then sent the Cancellation Form a second
time.  I had nothing to do with the fact that Progressive didn’t cancel
the policy the first time.
Regarding
coverage on her vehicle, any vehicle over 10 years old typically carries only
Liability unless specifically requested by the insured at which point we would
then request pictures of the vehicle.  I never seen a copy of her old
policy nor had access to it to know that she had Comprehensive coverage on a
vehicle over 10 years old.  We did discuss her liability coverage’s and
the deductible amounts, but she never mentioned that she had Comprehensive
coverage on the 2002 Buick Regal.  Before I emailed Ms. [redacted] the
Applications for her and auto and home, I spoke to her on the phone at which
point I told her I would be emailing them to her, that she look them over and
let me know of any changes, questions or concerns prior to signing them and
returning them back to me.  Several days later I received them back signed
and there were no notifications of changes.  She did notify me about a
week after her policies were in force via telephone, that she wanted towing
added to her vehicles, I did make the change.  She was also sent a copy of
her policy from Hartford which has a cover letter that I believe also tells her
to review her policy and coverage’s and if there are any changes to be made, to
notify the agent to the make the changes.
If there is
anything else you may need from me, please do not hesitate to contact me, I
have enclosed a business card for your reference.

Sincerely,

He made an appointment at that time to have his clutch adjusted on 5/29/2016. At that time he admitted that he had never ordered, had been invoiced, or paid for the disputed spark plugs. We agreed to talk further on 8/1/16 as he had a pressing appointment to get to. Before leaving he and his mechanic agreed that perhaps some of his other complaints were unfounded. During further discussion with customer and his wife on 8/1/16, he agreed that a reimbursement of $125 would be satisfactory in resolving this issue. We then issued him a business check [redacted] in the amount of $125. He then initialed and signed the agreement that he was satisfied.See attachmentIf any further information or clarification is needed please do not hesitate to contact me directly at [redacted].RegardsTimothy J[redacted]OwnerTuf-Enuf Auto and Marine Performance[redacted]

we did settle on 125,00 but it was with great reluctance and hesitation, we did meet with tuff enuff on there property 2 times but the meetings where getting ;more and more hostile. I greatly disagree with times statement that our previous mechanic with on the fence.  I truly belive tuff enuff is a company that is not honest, and I will not return to them for business nor will I recommend them to anyone. My receipts  do not add up the what they actually charged me, I dropped my care off and gave them 500.00  3 days later travis called me wanting 800.oo more,  I gave him 1000,00 he called me add said he wanted to paint the shorud and gasket cover at that time I ask him how much are you charging me for this, he replied 2,800,00,  I replied go ahead with the work. I was called into the shop to look at his progress, and look at the real  main seal, after that tever 1 week later told me to come pick up my care.I then gave him the 2,8.00.00. when I picked my car up it was outside the gate, and I complained about the clutch. he adjusted the cluth and I drove the car home. next day there was oil all on my garage floor.  I called him, he said bring car in. he looked car he could not find  oil leak and at that time I told him about my parts that had been switched. clamps missing off my care, and used a rubber seal on  the main seal, and that why my car is still leaking that's why I will not return my car to him, he has lied about the work and his invoice does not match up with the work that was done. he made up work on invoice that was not done.
