We always like to hear from our customers whether it is a good or bad comment This is what helps shape our company and make us better We will certainly take your comments seriously and review our internal process to see if we can improve it

Customers fill out an application and state their net income The processer then reviews the whole application with them including their net income Then the loan officer also reviews their income when he talks with the customer Once the loan is approved the processer reviews the documents that are needed to prove all the information on the application is true In this case, when her income was verified, it was not what she indicated throughout the process and was not enough to get the loanI understand that she is disappointed that she was approved for the loan and then denied This would not have happened if she would have given accurate information during the process.Sincerely,***

This place deserves absolutely no stars, I filed for bankruptcy and 3 weeks later I received a flier on the mail with it stating in bold letters that wen banks or anyone says no to you for a loan they say yes! It brags so much about how they will approve you even before your bankruptcy is discharged, I was denied only to ad another decrease to my credit, I will be posting reviews about your company on every possible social media! Warning them to not fall into your false claims! Why bother sending me anything over the mail! It is the time that you robbed me from to send information only to be denied!

This is what I call false advertising!

We do not have an advertisment that says "bold letters that wen banks or anyone says no to you for a loan they say yes! ". But more important, when a loan company(not just us, all loan companies) sends you an advertisement it does not guarrentee you a loan. That is why there is an application process. I am sorry we were not able to get you a loan, I understand how disapointing that is.

We do not require ACH payments.
The payment day and type are set up after the loan is approved and is
not part of the loan approval process.
Most people want the payment withdrawn by ACH for the convenience. Two payments were taken on 11/28/14, instead
of one. MsTruesdell called Friday,
11/28/after we were closed to inform us of the error. We received her message Monday morning and
immediately issued her a check for the additional payment, and called her
back. We rectified this situation as
quickly as possible. Unfortunately, Ms
Truesdell has been unreasonable to deal with.
We consider this matter resolved

I had multiple loans with this company. They were great at first but when I had an issue with my bank account they decided to take me to court. I had a perfect payment history prior to this and that didn't matter in the least. I sent in a couple of money orders and when they didn't call I assumed they had received them. I found out they didn't when they had someone serve me papers. I contact them immediately to discuss the issue and they made it seem like they would work with me. I offered to make double payments for the remainder of the loan but they refused. I sent a letter of dispute to them and the court and was told we would have a mediator come and help us work it out. The court and universal lenders decided to not accept my letter of dispute and when ahead with the court date without me there and are going to start garnishing my wages. Anyone who has to get a loan stay far away from this place because they do not care about anything other than money and enjoy screwing people over.

When a customer is late on a payment, we call a few times and send letters. This process takes a couple of weeks. Then we send a default letter, which gives you two more weeks to pay your past due balance. If you do not communicate with us, we then go to small claims court. Once the small claims process starts, we all must follow the court rules. I am glad we were able to work out a payment plan that worked for you.

Review: I applied for a loan through Universal Lenders online to help me so that I can get a loan to put money down on a new car. Friday on October 9, 2015 I received a phone call from a man named [redacted] to gain more information from me regarding my loan, once I told him the information he needed he stated that he will give me a call back to let me know what I got approved for. Later in the afternoon I received a phone call from a lady named [redacted] and she stated I got approved for my loan in the amount of $500 and that on Monday I must go into the Brookfield office to sign my paperwork and pick my check up. In regards to our conversation she stated that I must fax over my current paycheck stubs and they must be $800 or better after taxes. Friday evening I faxed over my paycheck stubs to [redacted] which she didn't receive until Monday. On Monday I spoke with [redacted] and she stated that [redacted] her boss needed my last paycheck stub to verify I have been at my job for this entire year and he also needed my 2014 taxes so I faxed to [redacted] the information she needed and waited for a call back once I receive the call back from [redacted] I missed her call and gave her a call back and once I talked with [redacted] she stated that they were unable to give me the loan and that they were closing the loan out due to I did not make enough last year for the loan which my checks are more than the loan itself that I am able to pay back I did not understand this because I feel that is something that they should have did before they approved me for the loan and even gave me the phone call telling me that I was approved I feel this was very miss advertisement very unprofessional and then I asked to speak with [redacted] the manager and she told me that he is swamped with work and that he cannot talk with me that is why he had her call me I feel that I should have gotten my phone because I was able to pay it back and I feel that it was discrimination due to once they found out what type of person I was also I feel that they should have told me this one Friday about faxing all of this paperwork over Friday and then I would not have counted for this money for today so the money really put me in a bind because I was not able to receive the money which I had counted for it and knew that I was getting the long today this is very Unprofessional.Desired Settlement: To still receive my loan of $500.

Response:

Review: This company made me give them my bank information in order to secure a loan. I did not want to do this but since it was the only way to get the loan I did. The first payment was fine but the next payment they took two separate payments making me pay twice. They side they refunded but I don't have it, so who knows what they are doing.Desired Settlement: I think the whole loan should be null and void because they should not have required me to give them my account info in the first place.
