Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Subject: Details of Claim # [redacted],Claim against Rose Automotive ofHamilton, OH, For refund of $69.00.From: [redacted], Phone messages & fax on that Line.Per our discussion on 8-1-16; I am faxing you 7 pages which includes this letter. The pages are:1.           E-mail complaint sent to Rose Automotive on their web site, "Contact Us", 1 page. I have not received a response as of 8-1-162.           Rose mirror hang tag #074 front & rear, 2pages3.           Rose Invoice / Bill where $69.23 was paid; 1page.4.           Truck Ohio registration; 1 page5.           Rose repair estimate which is not professional legible. My complaint is that Rose gave me an unreadable estimate for repairs and returned my truck without any brakes. There was some brake when I drove the truck to Rose Automotive. Rose did not tell me that there was no BRAKES after their inspection. They had parked the truck ready to pull out onto Route 4. In my opinion they did not expect me to not leave the truck for them to repair. I took the truck to Rose (a dealer) because 1 thought there was a brake line recall, but rose said there was no recall. I have had the brake lines replaced by [redacted] after the truck was hauled there. [redacted] made an interesting comment: They had never seen a vehicle come in with all the bleed valves open!Rose placed me in grave safety danger, and Chevrolet should be held responsible for defective brake lines.Sincerely, -- [redacted]

On July 12, 2016 Mr. [redacted] brought  his 2004 Silverado in for service with a complaint of brakes going to the floor.  A complete inspection of the brake system was performed.  This included visual inspection on all lines for rust, and a loosening and retourque of...

all bleeders to insure system can be bled. This procedure required approximately 1 hour to complete.  Our posted diagnostic rates are $40.00 to $94.00 depending on services performed and time spent. An estimate for recommended brake repairs was presented to customer in person with the offer by the service advisor to go to the vehicle and review each item.  Customer declined.  Mr. [redacted] was also presented with the option of possible payment options which he also declined.Mr. [redacted] was also presented with hand written copy of the estimate and a computer generated description of estimated services.  Our estimates can be verbal, hand written, or computer generated and are typical of ours and many other industries. The issues with his brake system are typical of vehicles from this area, and is due to materials used in manufacture, due  to chemicals used to treat roads for ice and salt, and very common in this area know in the industry as the rust belt.  According to CARFAX this vehicle has been in the area since 2007 and has not been in to a GM repair facility.  The situation with his brake going to the floor will happen due to fluid loss and a lack of fluid will not build pressure in the system.  The driver is then just pumping air, and brake pedal feel and performance will not return until repairs are complete.  Any cost paid prior to repair is applied to the final repairs when completed.

Approx. a week ago I accepted the proposed settlement offered by Rose Automotive, but I have not received the refund? Please let me know what to expect.Sincerely,  [redacted]   [redacted]
