Universal Mechanical

Sal of Universal Mechanical and his team were hired to replace the sewer pipes on the property I had recently purchased. Sal assured me that they leave the place just as it was before they worked on it. I was in the midst of taking loads from the old home to the new home, and Sal called and let me know they were done with the job and sent someone to my old residence to meet me to grab the check. I didn't get to see the finished job until later that day when taking a load over. I found out they had used a bako in the process. They simply drove over my back fence and tore it down. They did not fix what they had broken - they left the back fence torn down for anyone to wander from the back alley into my yard. Since then, Sal has stopped answering his phone and his voicemail box is now full and he won't return any calls, because he already took my money and clearly doesn't care that I now have back-alley people coming through my yard. And there is evidence of this, in that my back gate is sometimes found open, letting me know that people have been trying to break in while I'm gone.

This is beyond an issue of Universal Mechanic breaking their word - saying they would leave my property as they found it but clearly lied to my face. This is also an issue of safety, in that I no longer have peace of mind that my back yard is protected, because Universal Mechanical has opened the doors to anyone wandering in that back alley to come onto my property.
