Re: Complaint ID [redacted])

To Whom It May Concern;
We are writing in regards to the above referenced complaint filed by Ms. [redacted].
Ms. [redacted] signed up with our...

company on June 22, 2016 investing $12,595.28. Her investment was strictly for educational products, tools, and resources as listed in her agreement.  On July 29th, 2016, Ms. [redacted] called Universal Mentoring Group (UMG) stating that she was unable to cover her credit card payments that she used to purchase this program. UMG offered to help cover her monthly payment in the amount of $261.00 on August 2, 2016. UMG was not in any way liable for this payment, however out of good faith having a client that was in need, UMG sent a check to Ms. [redacted] to cover this.
On September 1, 2016 Ms. [redacted] called in and spoke with one of our representatives explaining that she had spent money with other companies on her own accord.  The money that she spent with these other companies had nothing to do with UMG. Again, out of good faith, our representative told Ms. [redacted] that they would reach out to these companies and see if they could help her get any refunds.  UMG’s understanding was that Ms. [redacted] was satisfied with the refunds that UMG helped her obtain and receive. UMG did not hear of any problems from Ms. [redacted] until September 21st, 2016.
Ms. [redacted] sent an email on September 21st, 2016 in which she requested to cancel the program and receive a refund. Again, our resolutions department called Ms. [redacted] on September 21st and September 22nd, 2016 and left voicemails at both times that were never responded to by Ms. [redacted].
UMG has a 3 day right of rescission cancellation policy in which Ms. [redacted] was fully aware of and also initialed, signed, and verbally agreed to during a complied recording and per her signed agreement. We have reached out to Ms. [redacted] trying to resolve something with her with no response.
Due to the fact that we only provide educational training material and services, it would be impossible for UMG or any of its representatives to suggest or state that Ms. [redacted] would make a certain amount of money in a certain period of time, which is also verbally discussed and also listed in her written agreement.  Each person learns at a different pace, just like a college education, therefore we cannot guarantee that any one individual can learn at the same rate as another, which is why we helped Ms. [redacted] out with her credit card payment to help her focus on the program.  UMG does however offer a guarantee of service that states if the client is not completely satisfied that UMG will continue to work with them proactively at UMG expense until they are. We are honoring this guarantee of service with Ms. [redacted] as well as we do with all of our clients.
As previously stated, Ms [redacted] signed up for our program on June 22, 2016. Ms. [redacted] has used 12 of her 16 weekly coaching sessions along with full access to all of the products and services purchased.  We are more than willing to work with Ms. [redacted] however we will need her to respond to us by contact us at the phone number provided below.
