Company decided to retain refund for over payment of roof replacement and repairs in the amount of $1,861.55, despite of our emails request We had a few issues with this company from workmanship to incorrect billing and collection issues, during our roof replacement process and even now with refund issues In this case, on August 21, we did agree to pay Universal Roof & Contracting $15,for our roof replacement, plus $1,on October 8,for additional repairs due to damage found during the roof replacement, for a total of $16, We paid them as follow: we endorsed them our 1st insurance company check for $6,on August On October 7, we paid them another $3,using two credit cards, and paid them another $9,with our final insurance monies on February 2, 2016, once all the workmanship issues were resolved, totaling $18,in payments made However, after all payments were made they persistently tried to collect an outsta

On 1-27-17,I received a phone call stating I owed additional money for a roofing job on my houseI asked why did it take so long to get back to me and the company stated they were waiting on the insuranceThe company stated I owed an additional $I called my insurance agent and he immediately called the roofing company back and said they were asking about deductibles and what I got reimbursedI always get through to my insurance company right awayWhy would they want to know about my deductible? I will pay the money I owe but, I don't understand why it takes 1/months to inform meThe company called me back today and asked me if I had gone over my paperworkI told her I had not received any paperwork or invoice from her companyI told her to send me an updated invoice and I would look it over and would get back to herThe new invoice she sent did not itemize the new chargesShe then stated do not take to long b

I have been waiting weeks for the inspection on my phone eleven installed windows which still have the sticker info I was told not to remove until they were inspectedThey are still there; not yet inspectedI called to relay that info some two and a half months ago; told that it would be better amen care ofIt was not done and weeks later I we tto the inspection office at the Seminole County Services building; discussed the issue; set up an appointment for an inspection; inspector arrived; could not find the permit or any of the required paperwork and could not perform an inspectionHe coming letedto he sent to Renewal by Anderson which stated these facts on June 28, 2018.The stickers are still on my windows and no one has contacted me to inform me of the project's statusI also wish to report that one window will not fully close and thereby cannot be like locked - a security issue My request is that this matter be immediately attended toI believe that I have acted in good faith
