Although course is basic engines and, in most cases, is the first course
a student is placed in, it is not always the caseOne thing that governs this is our student-to-instructor ratio must never be about 30:When this is the case, and we have exhausted efforts to run multiple basic engines classes, we will then schedule students into an alternate course that does not require a pre-requisiteIn this case, the student was scheduled into course 107, which is brakesThis course number does NOT denote the sequence the course is taken in a student's programFurthermore, basic engines has nothing to do with preparing a student for a course in brakes, and vice-versaSo yes, students can and will be scheduled to course other than due to student loads, as long as there are no pre-requisite rules being broken
We have numerous documented contact points with this student concerning his other allegationsUnfortunately, due to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act regulations, I am unable to properly defend our positions on this issue through the Revdex.com without a signed release from the student
