I had a very positive experience with Universal Windows Direct of Dayton. When shopping for windows, I knew what I wanted from previous experience in a different house, and the specific thing I was looking for was a non-metal spacer between the panes of glass. At a home show, Universal was the only window company to offer that feature. When the sales person came to my house I explained that I knew about all the various options etc and told him I've been through this sales pitch all before with other companies so he cut right to the business of measuring and working out the price. I opted to do the windows in three phases over 2 years and have had a great experience throughout the process. There were a couple of minor details that I was not satisfied with and someone came out and made sure to correct those details. Part of my project involved a large bay window and they even brought the wood trim to me ahead of time so that I could pre-stain it before installation. The installers were all a pleasure to work with and to have in my home, except that on the first trip there was one person smoking. I reported that to the company and with future installations they already had that issue on record and made sure that there was no smoking during the future visits. The installers worked quickly and efficiently and paid great attention to detail in creating a fine, beautiful, finished product. And, whenever someone came to my home, they were always prompt and on time. I was never left guessing what was happening.
