Dear BBB, Your letter came to us as a surprise since we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to all of our clients. Still, we are more than willing to cooperate and straighten out any misunderstanding that may have occurred. As a response to the BBB's complaint... (ID: [redacted] ) we would like to state the following: Universal Softwares Inc. is not affiliated with Cisco or Yahoo, or any other company for that matter. This fact is made clear via all mediums for communication that we use as a company. Starting with our website(universalsoftwares.org), which mentions, "Universal Softwares INC is a 3rd party technical support provider". Another important point that is found in the same paragraph says, "We [Universal Softwares Inc.] have Cisco Certified Professional (CCNA & CCNP Experts) to deal with network related issues". It is worth noting that 'Cisco Certified Professionals' does not equal 'Professionals working for Cisco' or 'Professionals affiliated with Cisco'. Secondly, when our technical support staff receives a call, the first thing that they are made to say is, "Thank you for calling Universal Softwares Inc. How may I help you?". This greeting promotes our company's name while at the same time makes the caller aware that they have called Universal Softwares Inc. and not Cisco or Yahoo. Thirdly, and this the BBB can verify for itself since they have a copy of our invoice, that all of our invoices are printed under the company name - Universal Softwares Inc. and not Cisco. Nowhere throughout the process of finding our company on the Web, to contacting us, to purchasing our service, is it mentioned that we, Universal Softwares Inc., are affiliated with Cisco/Yahoo or are part of them in respect. That being said, we are still sorry to learn that one of our customer is unhappy with our services. We as a company, encourage our customers to call our toll free number at any time of any day or email us with their concerns/technical issues. We also do our best to swiftly and methodically resolve any such issues or concerns that are brought to our attention. In conclusion, for this particular case, Universal Softwares Inc. is willing to forgo the remaining balance of said customer. Furthermore, we encourage them to contact our support staff and let our team clarify any of their issues pertaining to their complaint; so that we may once again be on good terms. Sincerely, Management Universal Softwares Inc. universalsoftwares.org [email protected]

To Whom It May Concern, It is humbly submitted that, Universal Softwares Incis a law abiding company undertaking legitimate business across United States and it is also worth mention that customer satisfaction is always our priority The complainant in his complaint alleged that we, Universal Softwares Inc., contacted him in June and misrepresented ourselves as MicrosoftThe above allegation is completely and is fabricated by the complainantWe are a well reputed company and have goodwill among our customers which we would never jeopardise by misrepresenting ourselves as some other companyWe would also like to mention that the complainant, Mr [redacted] , himself contacted us in the said month and no call was made to him from our end Another allegation made by the complainant was that we told him that there were a lot of things wrong in his computer which needed to be fixed and made him pay the amount mentioned in the complaint i.e$to us by means of cheque to be issued in the name of UNIVERSAL SOFTWARES INCat the address PEACE PORTAL DRSTE107-BLAINE, WA- The above mentioned allegation is also as we only provided him with service for which he askedAs clarified in point 2, we never misrepresent ourselves as some other company and asked him for payment of the above mentioned amount which he owed to us for the services we provided him Kindly note that the complainant in his complaint said that the cheque was send at the address mentioned above in point 3, which is the address of Universal SoftwaresThe question here remains that if we misrepresented ourselves as Microsoft, why would we be demanding the payment at our official address and invite all kinds of legal troubles for us? Another lie filed by the complainant was that he tried to reach us via our toll free number i.e1-844-613-but could not contact usPlease note that our toll free number was and is always available to anyone who wishes to contact usA copy of our call history for the month of June is attached with this email, proving that the aforementioned number was in fact active and in use during this time It is also worth mentioning here that the dealing between the complainant and our company occurred in June and he filed the complaint in August, after months It seems that the complaint, Mr [redacted] , is being tutored by some third party and has been motivated to file a bogus complaint against our company in order to extort money from us Thanks and Regards, Universal Softwares Inc

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The fellow with whom I talked said he was from Cisco.  A very reliable company.  Then after he "fixed" my computer, he said that no, he doesn't work for Cisco, but is Cisco certified.  He never mentioned who he worked for until I was suspicious and asked him if I could research his company.  He was still in my computer at the time and found the site for me.  Then after his service, I still felt taken and tried to look up the site myself.  I have to call several companies called Universal Softwares, Inc, .com, org. and never found them again.  Other companies were very surprised that their name had been duplicated.I was told a very frightening, to me,  response to my asking for help.  They said "don't worry" we will fix everything but "don't be misled by other computer "guys" who will try and get you to buy service and continued to have me purchase a $299.99 service, for "computer repair", because they said "it was very safe" .Then "you can post date a check for another $159.99 for five years protection."  That will be a grand total of $481.48. The fellow didn't tell me the charges until after they said they fixed it.  I kept saying that I can't afford this service., but they said that I owed them the $299.99 for the "computer repaid", but I could have five years protection for another $159.99.  I told them I just didn't have the money   So, I wrote them a letter and paid $299.00, not the grand total of $481.48.  I was so upset at how I thought I had been taken, that I called  a Micsosoft representative who looked in my computer and found that my operating system and other important systems had been hacked. So no, I don't accept Universal Softwares, Inc, corp, org answer to this.  They misrepresented themselves to me and I want my $299.99 returned to me.[redacted]

To Whom It May Concern,   It is humbly submitted that,   1. Universal Softwares Inc. is a law abiding company undertaking legitimate business across United States and it is also worth mention that customer satisfaction is always our priority.   2. The complainant...

in his complaint alleged that we, Universal Softwares Inc., contacted him in June and misrepresented ourselves as Microsoft. The above allegation is completely false and is fabricated by the complainant. We are a well reputed company and have goodwill among our customers which we would never jeopardise by misrepresenting ourselves as some other company. We would also like to mention that the complainant, Mr [redacted], himself contacted us in the said month and no call was made to him from our end.   3. Another allegation made by the complainant was that we told him that there were a lot of things wrong in his computer which needed to be fixed and made him pay the amount mentioned in the complaint i.e. $250 to us by means of cheque to be issued in the name of UNIVERSAL SOFTWARES INC. at the address 477 PEACE PORTAL DR. STE. 107-315 BLAINE, WA- 98230. The above mentioned allegation is also false as we only provided him with service for which he asked. As clarified in point 2, we never misrepresent ourselves as some other company and asked him for payment of the above mentioned amount which he owed to us for the services we provided him.   4. Kindly note that the complainant in his complaint said that the cheque was send at the address mentioned above in point 3, which is the address of Universal Softwares. The question here remains that if we misrepresented ourselves as Microsoft, why would we be demanding the payment at our official address and invite all kinds of legal troubles for us?   5. Another lie filed by the complainant was that he tried to reach us via our toll free number i.e. 1-844-613-3355 but could not contact us. Please note that our toll free number was and is always available to anyone who wishes to contact us. A copy of our call history for the month of June is attached with this email, proving that the aforementioned number was in fact active and in use during this time.   6. It is also worth mentioning here that the dealing between the complainant and our company occurred in June and he filed the complaint in August, after 2 months.  7. It seems that the complaint, Mr [redacted], is being tutored by some third party and has been motivated to file a bogus complaint against our company in order to extort money from us.   Thanks and Regards,  Universal Softwares Inc.
