Review: My tractor trailer broke down and I called by business partner to come get me as we both own a towing company. Before he could arrive a driver from Universal Towing pulled up and advised that he was taking my truck. I explained the situation and he again stated he was towing my truck as this was his area. He began to curse at me and blocked my truck in so that if my co worker showed up he couldn't hook to my truck. He called the NYPD and they told me that I did not have a choice that he was towing my truck off the highway, they charged me $707.59 to tow my truck a half mile off the highway. He countinued to swear at me and then left. He then returned 15 mins later to curse at me and make an issue about the situation. 20 mins later my coworker arrived and hooked to my truck and we left. About an hour later the driver called me from a restricted number and began to swear and call me a sheep [redacted] from upstate. I have also contacted the attorney general and my lawyer about this.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the tow due to the lack of respect and professionalism from their driver.
