The real test of their integrity is how they correct a problem, and how they treat you as a person when they make a mistakeI have had a very negative experience with this dealership in my attempts to have an extended warrenty transferred to meThis dealership made a mistake in the original contract and were agreeable to fixing it, then transferring it to me, until they learned that there was a cost to themWhen they learned this, they blamed the previous owner of the contract, failed to return phone calls, and said they coudn't help meI ended up having it settled through the Ford Extended Service Headquarters and the Revdex.comIt took months and countless hours on the phone to get this problem corrected because the dealership was being so uncooperative with the Ford Extended Service Plan HeadquartersWhen the plan was finally corrected, I made a trip to the dealership which was miles away on my day off to have it transferredI called the day before to let them know I was comingWhen I got there I waited a long time in *** ***'s office and was told to come back next week because they coudn't figure out how to transfer itThey said it "wasn't in the system," and they couldn't reach the Headquarters to have them update the systemI told them I would come back later that afternoon since I have a job I must go to next weekThey told me to come back in hours, but when I did they still couldn't find me in the systemI called the Ford ESP Headquarters and spoke to the contact person there, she said it had been in the system for two weeksI called the next business day and was transferred from *** *** to *** the business Manager "who will be dealing with this from now on." *** then informed me that she would try later to reach the HeadquartersI had talked to the headquarters just minutes before and I told *** that*** then infomed me "*** will need to get back with me but he was busy right now." This is the most unprofessional treatment I have ever experiencedI am not going to tell people not to come hereThat is up to youIt is likely that you will be treated well if you are wishing to purchase a vehicle, but in my situation, I believe that the dealership management and staff were not willing to take responsiblility for their mistake and I do not feel I was treated with respectI am most upset because it is my opinion that they wasted my time and were not honest with me
The next day I spoke with *** *** at Greentown Ford today who had no problem transferring the contract into my nameI called *** *** (owner) at Cass County Ford to let him know I would no longer need him to transfer the contract into my name, because I had the other dealership do itHe cut me off before I could finish and threatened me by saying he had "seen my online review and he was going to give it to his lawyer and sue me for slanderHe said he would tell people I was never a customer of his and then he hung up on me."
