Review: I ordered a college text book from this company on 1/4/14. The money came out of my bank account immediately as expected. I received a confirmation e-mail informing me of my purchase/purchase order # etc. After 1 week the items still did not arrive. I checked online and seen that the status was "Shipped". The details show "UPS Communication Error". I have e-mailed all the e-mails available asking for status of my products. The number provided on their website is disconnected. Their online chat states it is open from 9-5 EST Mon-Friday yet it is approximately 10am EST on Tuesday and it is still "Offline". I then looked at this company's [redacted] profile and found that several other people are experiencing the same issue as myself. I feel that I have been scammed out of 130$ textbook. I have had to reorder my textbook and will demand refund if I ever reach this company.Desired Settlement: I want the amount of money I spent on merchandise that I never received refunded to me .

Review: I ordered a "[redacted]" fleece for my daughter on 12/6 as a Christmas present. Money was taken out of my account the next day. On 12/8 I received a shipment notice with no tracking information. On 12/27 I still hadn't received it and I called and was told that it never shipped because it was on back order and that it would ship within 5 days. I still have not received it. I've called multiple and emailed multiple times without any luck of getting someone to answer.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund or I would like my daughter's fleece hoodie ordered to me. I was charged money for a product that I will never receive!

Review: Made a purchase from this company on September 10th on an item stated was "in stock" and will ship within "24-48" hours. I also paid extra for 2 day shipping. When I logged back in to see the status of the item last Friday the 13th, it still did not show my item was shipped yet. So, I sent an email to the company as to the status of this important item I need ASAP for an upcoming exam. Never heard back. I have tried repeatedly to contact customer support. When I call, it always says "your call is next in line, a customer service representative will be with you shorty." It always goes to some males voicemail. I have left messages and keep trying to call but no answer. It is now the 19th and I don't have an item and cannot get a hold of anyone. Upon looking online for reviews on this company, I have found that many others have had the same experience I am having. This company is taking peoples money, offering expedited shipping for an extra charge and never shipping out items!Desired Settlement: I simply want the order cancelled and a refund issued. I already bought and RECEIVED what I needed from another company.

Review: To Whom it May Concern,

I ordered 2 products from Universitybooksonline.com nearly 2 months ago and have yet to receive it. I emailed their customer service department on 6 different occasions for an update on my product/shipment. They told me to contact my apartment complex and UPS - in which I did and neither party was able to find the products. I emailed back and have yet to receive any information on my product or offer a refund.

I called and left 5 different messages to their customer service, billing, and shipping department without a single callback. It has been nearly 2 months and I have not received any information. I gave them plenty of time to resolve the issue before writing to the Revdex.com - but now I am left w/out other options.

I am a 3rd year medical student and I ordered 2 white coats for $64. I am on a limited income and am worried that I will not receive what I paid for nor get a refund. This is terrible customer service that borders on the lines of fraud.Desired Settlement: I would like the products I paid for or a refund.

Review: I placed an order with this company for medical supplies, only to receive an email from the company indicating that the order was incomplete. I returned to the checkout section of the company's website to "complete" the order because I thought I had done something wrong during checkout. Upon completion of that transaction, I received a server error from the website. Feeling apprehensive, I promptly checked the statement associated with the card that I had used to make the purchase, and found that the card had been charged twice for the alleged single incomplete order. I immediately began trying to contact the company via phone to try and resolve the problem. However, on the first several attempts, I had received a recorded message that the number was not in service. Determined, however, I kept trying to reach them, using two numbers provided on the website. When finally did get through, I was placed on hold by their computerized answering system, and then transferred to voice mail after a period on hold. I left messages with several departments with no response, so I decided to try their email form instead, believing that there may have been some issue with the phone system. After several unsuccessful attempts, I contacted my bank, who decided to begin an investigation into the company for fraudulent charges. I emailed the company yet again to inform them of the events that had transpired. I have not yet received any response from them, and they have taken my money - twice! I also paid extra for expedited shipping of my items because I knew that I would be leaving the country for school. Now, I am, in fact, out of the country, and did not receive my order at all, nor any communication whatsoever from the company.Desired Settlement: My desire is for the company to refund the money it has taken from me immediately, and respond to their customers in a timely, appropriate, and professional manner. I would personally appreciate a call from them to resolve this issue without further delay.

Review: I purchased a college book online and paid for it with my credit card on December 27, 2013. My card was charged but I never received the book. I thought the delay may have been weather related so I waited 3 weeks before having to buy the book somewhere else. I contacted the business by e-mail on January 23, 2014. I got an automatic response saying that someone would call me within 24-48 hours, but I never received a call from them. I also tried calling the business but never got through to anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $131.04 to my credit card because I had to buy the book from another company.

Review: I placed an order for a Meta Unisex 30" Consultation Labcoat with University Logo and Name/Credentials on it as a Christmas gift for my son on December 10, 2013. The money for the item and shipping/handling was taken out of my bank account right away. Currently I have still not received the item. I have emailed them and called them leaving messages numerous times but have not heard anything back from them. When I "googled" them for reviews I noticed that many people have the same complaints. They also have a facebook page where many people have left the same type of reviews.Desired Settlement: I really would be happy if I would still get the item I ordered but in lieu of that I would be satisfied with getting my money back.

Review: 1) I am writing with regards to the following four book orders placed with University Books Online :

Order# Order Date Total Amount Charged [redacted] 4/5/2013 $976.78 [redacted] 4/17/2013 $58.58 [redacted] 4/26/2013 $ 73.91 [redacted] 5/16/2013 $249.90

$1,359.17

2) I have returned the books included in the above four book orders on June 3, 2013. The books were shipped to University Books Online by [redacted] ([redacted] Shipping Receipt #: [redacted]).

3) The returned order was received by Mr.[redacted] at University Books Online on June 4, 2013 (a copy of the delivery receipt and delivery confirmation available on [redacted] website)

4) I however have not received the refund for the returned order. I would like to bring to your attention that, in the attempt to follow up with regards to the refund, I have emailed numerous times to the customer service department and left numerous voice messages during the period from June, 2013 until present. However, I have not received any response from the University Books Online.

5) In addition, please note, when I initially placed these four orders, they were not shipped to me on time. I attempted to cancel the orders prior to them being shipped to me. However, I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to cancel the orders because your customer service representatives have never returned my calls and emails. I have therefore incurred shipping costs for the amount of $325.21Desired Settlement: 1) I respectfully request the refund for the amount of $1,359.17 for the books that were returned to and received by University Books Online on June 4, 2013. Please send the cheque for the amount of $1,359.17 to the following address: [redacted]) I also request the refund for the shipping fee for the returned order in the amount of $325.21.

Review: In 2011 I order books through my financial aid, and decieded not to take the classes. I spoke to someone at University Bookstore online that stated I could return the books, and they would not bill my financial aid. Since then the school has billed for the books, which were sent back to the company and recieved (as it was verified through an employee of the bookstore. I spoke to a rep a month ago who stated that someone from the accounting dept would get back to me. I have been calling the company daily and leaving numerous messages, and have yet to recieve a call back from anyone in the company. All of the extensions lead to the same person.Desired Settlement: A refund check from the company for what they billed my financal aid, or the proof that they never billed the finanical aid as promised so that I am able to settle my account with financial aid

Review: Hello, I am a Medical school student who had ordered textbooks form University books online businessBiggest mistake every these guys are a SCAMThe books & material cost over $1,in addition to this the website would not let us proceed to checkout without filling out the "priority mail $options"In order for to proceed we have to fill this option and were assured the books would arrive on Jan 7th with the extra $
Its Jan 25th now and now text books or productsThe already charged my credit card and have taken the money! Worst they have contact telephone numbers on the web site that are conveniently "no longer in use".....the website talks about "service, service, service." The website also has live chat available from 8-5pm weekdaythis is FALSE, no one is every live on-linethey email you auto-response back saying some one will get a hold of you in 24-hours, it is a lie no one doesI have left messages and calls, and emails and chat requests and have not relieved a response from he company NEVER!!!
I feel this is a scamThey also gave a UPS tracking #!!!! my classmates experienced the same thingThe university office has not yet received a response eitherMY university went a even removed them from there school website
This is a scam, They stole my money!!!! they have not yet given the products, RETURNED A SINGLE RESPONSE AND KEPT MY MONEY, esp with the $option to get it on time.Desired Settlement: I want my stolen money returned!, these guys are a scam, I want my money returned and I want a response for all the messages I left apologizing for the unmoral and unethical practiceI also want he state of New Jersey to investigate them for credit card fraud and business practices

Review: I ordered a set of nursing books from them on Monday, Aug 26th 2013, totaling about $260. I specifically chose the faster shipping (3-5 business days) and the confirmation email said it would ship within 1-2 business days. I also checked my bank account right after my transaction to confirm that it came out properly, which it did. So, I was expecting them around the early part of the following week. About a week and a half went by and I did not receive them, nor any notice of what was happening with them. I also noticed the money they took out was actually back into my account, as if it either didn't work or they refunded me back. I called and emailed them with no response back at all. I eventually gave up and went to my local bookstore and bought them myself. On Sept. 6 2013, I finally got an email saying my books have shipped. Also, the day they arrived, I noticed they just then decided to re-take that money out of my bank account, again with NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER. I've tried calling them repeatedly this morning with no one answering, even though it tells me I am the first caller in line. I am worried to return them out of fear it will take a long time for them to refund me back. The absolute lack of communication and false information in terms of their shipping is completely unacceptable, especially when I'm paying them a hefty amount of money involving something important like school books. I also just read quite a few reviews online about them with similar complaints and issues.Desired Settlement: I would like a guarantee of my money to be put back into my account ASAP. This is no way to run a business.

Review: We ordered books on Aug 7, 2013. As of Sept 3 we have not received anything we have ordered. Said would ship in 2-3 days. Daughter has started school without books. Customer service has not answered phone calls or emailsDesired Settlement: Would prefer to just cancel entire order

Review: I placed an order (order #[redacted]) on November 26, for three white coatsI paid a total of $128.77, which included an expedited shipping charge of $for USPS Priority Mail to be received by 2-days after processingThe order was paid by debit card, and I confirmed that payment was withdrawn from the card's account balanceThe items never arrivedI made several attempts to contact the company by phone and by email, but never received a replyAny attempts to call the customer service line result in an automated system that never connects you to a person, no matter which department/number is chosenAll of my emails to customer service were ignoredInstead, I received automated emails stating that someone from customer service would reply in hoursI never received any emails from a representative addressing my complaint, nor was I ever able to talk to a representative by calling their phone numberThen on December 23, 2013, I received an email from University Books stating that my order had been partially shipped with coats, which included a link to tracking the packageHowever, the USPS website stated that the tracking number was invalid and was not found in their systemWhen I checked at USPS, I was informed that the number "113" that I was given by University Books does not exist as a USPS tracking numberI have not received any other communication from the company as to the status of my orderThe company never stated that they ever shipped all three coatsAny attempts at contacting them in the past year have failedIt has been over year since I have made the order and was forced to purchase white coats at another store, which did not carry my school's embroidered logo on their white coatsUnfortunately, University Books is the only company that carries my school's logo, and I was unable to purchase the logo at any other storeThis past year I have been forced to wear white coats that are not in regulation with what is required.Desired Settlement: 1) Delivery of Order or
2) FULL REFUND in the form of a USPS Money Order (debit card used to make the purchase is now expired)

Review: Books and supplies were ordered in December for/by my son to be delivered to his medical school in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. After one month had passed, he emailed them several times, I emailed and called (the number is no longer in service), with no response. Also the live chat feature on the website is always offline. They charged my [redacted] account and issued a receipt the day he ordered his supplies. I have filed for a refund with [redacted] (this could take 30-60 days). In addition, other students as well as the medical school staff have made several attempts to contact the company, with no response.Desired Settlement: My son has had to find supplies from another vendor, which could take another 30 days before it is delivered.

At this point, I simply want my credit card credited for the amount, and for the Revdex.com to be aware of this company.

Review: Ordered a book for nursing school in January 2014. Received a confirmation email of the order, as well as a shipping confirmation email, on january 20, 2014. This email stated the book would be delivered within 2-3 business days. February 6, 2014, I had still not received the book. I contacted customer service via email and got an immediate response stating someone would contact me within 24-48 hours. I also called the 800 number, which said the number was out of service. On Feb 11, 2014 I still had not received a call, so I emailed again and placed another phone call to the customer service number. This time there was an option to leave a message, which I did. I still have no heard anything nor received my package. This item was paid for ($150) and I do not know what I can do to make others aware not to order from this company.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to refund my money. At this point I do not want the book from them.
