I made an appointment with this dermatologist over a month agoI received a prompt letter in the mail with the time of my appointment and the appropriate paperwork to fill our before my visitOn the day of my appointment, I called to tell them I was going to be about five minutes late, to which the receptionist assured me that it was fine because I had minutes before being considered a no showWhen I arrived (probably only about minutes late) I was told that my appointment was minutes earlier than the time indicated on my appointment reminder and and that I couldn't be seenWhen I reminded them that I had gotten off the phone with them no more than minutes previously, she said, "Well I didn't know about that." No communication and no professionalismI intended to go home and fax them a copy of my appointment sheet, but apparently I don't have it anymoreHow often do you really have to worry about proving an scheduled appointment with all this technology to help out? I can't imagine trusting a practice like this with my healthcare when they don't seem to be able to handle their appointment systemsI can't imagine they would take a lot of pride in caring what each individual patient, howeverI'm sure they do just fine without my businessIt's just unfortunate that it has to come to that
