I apologize for the experience you had at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. The restaurant, Lafitte's Landing, is operated by the Tusa Restaurant Group. Any complaints or grievance you have with the restaurant would need to be addressed to them. The hotel can not refund the
money you spent on your room due to a bad experience you had a separate facility. Every morning we do offer our guest a complimentary hot breakfast. Our breakfast includes fresh scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, fluffy biscuits, grits, potatoes, yogurt, pancakes, cereal, pastries, fresh fruit and many other tasty items. Our breakfast attendants do serve our guest a plate of food based on their request and will be happy to refill these items if the guest would like more. We have found that this is a more hygienic way of serving our guests and ensuring they are served the freshest food to start off their day. I have spoken to the housekeeping staff and instructed that if a guest checks in and turns the a/c unit down to degrees, they need to leave the temperature set. I would like to take a minute and point out that you did enjoy and in fact compliment the hotel on Google reviews when you stated that we have clean roomsThank you for the nice compliment and I will make sure that the staff is made aware of your kind words. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11939007, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was told by front desk staff he owners of the hotel are part owners of the restraunt when I asked them. The owners of the hotel do not want to admit this fact to elevate them from any responsibility of this complaint. The clean rooms were the only part of our stay that was acceptable. As Mrs. Self should know there is more than sanitation to an overall guests experience and other than sanitation there is no other reason to stay at this location. I expected better treatment as a Best Western Platinum Loyalty Club Member. I will no longer stay at any Best Western based on my experience at the Best Western Plus West Bank.
