update the latest software and upgrade his valve body to the newest kitWe did so, it made no difference to the vehicleWe determined it was not the work that we did to the valvebodyHe was told that it was an internal problem in the transmission itself, not the valvebody and we would try to locate a good used transmission for his vehicleAfter an extensive search we finally located one at a reasonable priceWe pulled his transmission and replaced it with the used transmission only to find that it was not goodWe then pulled that one back outWe then disassembled his transmission and found the problem with hisWe then went in search of the part that was defectiveAgain a waiting periodEach time his vehicle has to be put on waitWe do not have control over the difficulty in finding the correct parts, new or usedWe have furnished Mrwith a vehicle as soon as we had one available and at no chargeThe initial repair was not the problem this time, it was an internal problemWe have now gone through his intial transmission and are in the process of repairing the parts it neededWe then have to reinstall it and program itWe are now waiting to get his torque converter that was sent out to be checked as a preventative measureEach time we go through a step, work still goes on here and other vehicles are in the process of repairMrwas told it was not the valvebody rebuild and we were trying to keep his costs as low as possibleWhen we receive the torque converter we will then reinstall his transmission as soon as we have a lift availableIt is not our intent to keep his vehicle, we would like for it to be gone as much as he wants it backI don't think he understands exactly what the process isHe stated that Brentwood Volvo said hoursThat is for the valvebody, which is the initial repair that was done in March of The vehicle was brought in well over months later with a internal transmission problem, not the work we didIf it had been the valvebody we would have had it done and it would have been covered under warranty

I was told the car would be ready Wednesday and that is acceptable to me
