The middle aged woman working the counter purposely tossed my personal property on to the ground. I picked it up assuming it was a mistake. After paying for my purchase, she then threw my change to the ground. I realized at this point she was doing this intentionally. There was no conversation before this transpired. I asked the employee why she was doing this but she didn't respond. Since nothing transpired before the transaction, I have to believe she didn't like me for my race. The employee is middle-eastern/Indian. I am a Caucasian. I felt helpless and vulnerable. After her behavior, I asked why she was doing this. She mumbled incoherently. I asked for my money back and said I would not be giving my business to her. She said, "That's fine you don't need to give us your business" She did not argue and returned my money. The cameras would have captured this interaction at 5:10pm on Monday, February 16, 2015. When I arrived home, I realized the phone that was in the envelope she pushed to the ground is no longer working properly.Desired SettlementRequesting [redacted] to have my mobile phone repaired.
