Everything seemed to be going smoothly throughout my sons 3PM appointment up until the last minutesAround 4PM my son started screaming so loudly that I could hear him saying they were hurting him all the way in the lobby! I immediately became concerned and as it continued I approached the hallway leading back to where he was seatedAt that point in time I saw three people standing over my son, two of whom were restraining him, and as he cried out in pain they were stating that they "weren't doing anything" as I clearly saw them working in his mouthThis continued until I approached them and made my presence and discomfort knownI have never seen or heard of dentists behaving this way in general, let alone the treatment I have encountered in this experience with my year old childI am appalled that this occurred and was allowed to go on by an entire room of peopleThis was not only traumatic for my family, but I also find it hard to believe it was not unsettling for other patients or even facultyI will not be returning for any work in the future, periodI will definitely be expressing these feelings and concerns to others so that they might avoid the same experience

At that point in time I saw three people standing over my son, two of whom were restraining him, and as he cried out in pain they were stating that they "weren't doing anything" as I clearly saw them working in his mouth. This continued until I approached them and made my presence and discomfort known. I have never seen or heard of dentists behaving this way in general, let alone the treatment I have encountered in this experience with my 4 year old child. I am appalled that this occurred and was allowed to go on by an entire room of people. This was not only traumatic for my family, but I also find it hard to believe it was not unsettling for other patients or even faculty. I will not be returning for any work in the future, period. I will definitely be expressing these feelings and concerns to others so that they might avoid the same experience.
