I purchased a Subaru Forrester brand new from this companyWithin 44,the oil light came onI went to the dealership and they asked if we got the letterWe got a letter days later stating there was a class action lawsuit out about my type of car burning oilThat day when we brought it in they put oil in it till the light would go outFrom there they told us we needed an oil consumption test done which we didIt burned ounces under what it was necessary for this company to get reimbursed to do the appropriate work from Subaru corporationTherefore no one was helping usI contacted Subaru corporation and they just apologizedWe have done another oil consumption test and now we are getting the run aroundI bought a brand new car and now I am stuck carrying oil around at all timesThis is not what you should have to do when you buy a car brand newThey will not fix the issue until Subaru corporation will reimburse University of SubaruWe are at 65,miles now and

currently under way on yet another oil consumption test.  It is Subaru regulations for this testing we are doing, and if the vehicle does not meet these requirements there is nothing this dealership can do for this customer at this time.  There is no current recall on their transmission currently either; it is a warranty extension until 100,000 miles.  Customer can contact Subaru Corporate if he/she has further questions.   [redacted]

vehicle is owned by rent n go inc. customer brought vehicle to us to have us check out the no start complaint, found issue...

and fixed, on test drive to confirm no start was fixed found wheel bearing noise. contacted rent n go and advised about wheel bearing safety issue. due to rent n go being the owner they make the decisions on safety concerns and advise the customer what was happening. Customer was informed of wheel bearing issue and knew rent n go authorized us to repair vehicle.
